While recovering from a medical procedure in 2017, our Cavapoo, Bailey, had a terrible experience with the plastic cone. With the help of a local veterinarian, we decided to create a better recovery experience. After months of testing, we designed and launched the BellyGuard Dog Recovery Onesie. Today, we are a small, family-owned business based in Western Massachusetts, dedicated to providing a comfortable recovery for dogs across the country.

Which size is right for my pup?

Measuring your pup’s length and chest circumference is the best way to gauge. So, measure away! We recommend using a fabric measuring tape if have one, which is easiest to get an accurate measurement.

Can my Dog go to the bathroom while wearing this?

Yes!

Our patented clip-up system is simple and easy to use. Just unbutton the bottom flap, roll up the onesie, and snap it in front on your pup’s chest.

Will it shrink if I dry it?

The cotton fabric has been pre-washed, resulting in little to no shrinkage during drying. To be safe, low temperature dry is recommended.
