Our shampoo contains 2 percent Colloidal Oatmeal. Colloidal Oatmeal is finely ground to enable the grain to absorb liquid and mix in instead of settling to the bottom. Many other products use Oat Protein or Oat Extracts, resulting in shampoos that are 90% water.Directions: Shake well before each use. Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply Natural Oatmeal Shampoo to the coat and avoid contact with eyes. Work in additional water to obtain maximum benefits. Massage well into the hair and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Rinse. Repeat application and rinse thoroughly. For added anti-itch benefits, use in combination with Bio-Groom’s Natural Oatmeal Créme Rinse after shampooing.

This works great!!
My dog get dirty and smelly sometimes, as dogs do. After trying cheap dog shampoo and not liking the results, and getting a bit of sticker shock at what they wanted for some at the pet stores, I did some shopping around online and read reviews here on Amazon, and ran across Bio-Groom Natural Oatmeal Anti-Itch Shampoo. I liked it was a natural, Earth-friendly product, and even though my dog does not currently have an itch problem, prevention is never a bad thing, but one of the biggest reasons I went for this product was the fact it was not floral scented.We’ve got a boy dog and don’t like all the perfumey or floral products out there (sure, he’s small and white but I don’t want him smelling like lavender or some such), but sometimes you roll the dice on what you get if you don’t get the chance to smell it beforehand. Not disappointed there. After the first bath, I could not believe the difference this shampoo made; well worth the expense for the quality! Love how soft and fluffy it makes his coat. After bath time, his fur is not only clean and shiny, but he feels great and smells nice too!I was so impressed with the product, after a couple more baths, I bought the companion, Bio-Groom Natural Oatmeal Anti-Itch Pet Creme Rinse too. Love this product just as much. Same great quality and results, with the same nice scent to boot, and I didn’t think it was possible for his fur to get any softer, but this did it! The conditioner helped make his fur more manageable for brushing, and tangles are easier to work through too. The dog might not like bath time or grooming, but he definitely likes all the attention he gets afterwards when he’s all cute and soft and fluffy again!

Great low-scent, non-itch shampoo
My dog has a silky coat that’s more like hair than fur, and this shampoo is perfect for his needs. No more dry skin and the plus side is that there’s no overwhelming scent! Been using for years and would definitely recommend to other pet owners whose doggos have drier skin or are sensitive to smelly shampoos.

November 2018, I am still in love with this product. My dog’s coat are healthy and shiny even as they age. The scent is mild and doesn’t overpower the lovely smell of a freshly shampoo dog.February 2017 I started with my first Sheltie whose breeder used the biogroom products. Although I’ve tried other shampoos I like this one the best. I like the way it makes their coat look and feel. Shelties are like potato chips, you can’t stop at one so now I buy by the drum. The other great biogroom shampoo I use is the rinseless shampoo. It’s good for cleaning up the coat when you don’t need to wash the whole dog.

No skin reaction. Minimal scent. Gets dogs clean and I liked the pump applicator which is very convenient when you’re wrestling with a large dog! Seems to get them cleaner than previous shampoos I’ve tried as the dogs stay clean and odour free much longer than experienced with other products.

Awesome shampoo! Highly recommend! My dogs were going at there back ends until there was no hair! I tried this and it is so much better! Hair is coming back nicely. I used this and some Coconut oil for hair growth.
