Easy to assemble end table cat litter box holder
I decided to get this after seeing the reviews and I have to agree with the comments.Pros: Very very easy to assemble. No drill needed—just a screwdriver. Looks very nice assembled. Light weight and easy to move—which I did after I assembled it. Door easily opens and closes. Even my large Ragdoll easily fits through it, as well as my chubby Maine Coon. Does not look like a litter box. Easy to clean litter.Cons: will not hold a large litter box or even a litter box with a lid. I had to remove my lid which means my cat who likes to throw litter can and does out the door. We put a litter catcher in front of it. The same cat figured out how to open the door by pushing on it and enjoys jumping in and out of the cabinet.Overall—I would buy again. It does well for me and I am very pleased with it. If I had smaller cats, I would get a smaller litter pan and it would be perfectly disguised.

Hidden Litter Box … yes please!
I was never a Lego master and I am awful at following directions in general … but this was easy to assemble (yes, I followed the directions). There was a warning in the directions not to use a power tool and I took that to heart and used an old fashioned screw driver and I had no problems with assembly.I had read other reviews that indicated it needed a small litter box and I was prepared for that. What I was not prepared for was not being to find a small litter box locally. I went to PetSmart, Walmart, Target, Kroger and Ross and every litter box I found was a large or XL. I ended up buying 3 “medium” size litter boxes on Amazon and creating a homemade sifter set.Being that I have to use smaller box, that has shorter sides there is a lot of litter spill over the sides so I do use an absorbent wee wee pad under the box and that seems to be working.I gave the product 4 out of 5 stars because if the product had only had an inch … even a 1/2 inch more of internal space then a large litter box could be used which would have opened up the possibility for more convenient litter box options.

Very nice
If you have a cat or cats a litter box house (as I call it) is a must have. I have 3 cats, and it was time for a new one. This one was very easy to put together and looks nice in your place. The mat was purchased separately here on Amazon which catches the excess litter!

Unaware of the litter problem
After getting a third cat I unfortunately had to supply another litter box in a room other than a bathroom. So I decided to get an enclosure so it wouldn’t look so obvious out in our living spaces. Within two days our new kitten began sneezing and by the third day was congested and breathing through it’s mouth. I was cleaning the box three times a day but started to question if maybe litter dust was a problem in an enclosed box. Yep, when I pulled out the litter box all the way to investigate I was surprised at the dust on the sides of the enclosure. No doubt the kitties (all 3 of them really like the enclosed box) covering their messes were causing a health issue inside this thing. I have since removed the litter, cleaned the enclosure really well and are letting them use it as a hide-away. So far, none are interested. I’ve also tried other litters before but the cats wouldn’t use it. So, for me, I don’t recommend these enclosures for litter unless you use a completely dust free type.

Love this side table/litterbox combo!
I love this side table/litterbox combo! This is the second one we’ve bought, not because anything is wrong with the first one, we just wanted another! Very sturdy design, very easy to put together, and it has made a difference in how stinky our apartment gets when the kitty goes and does her business. The opening door closes with a magnet and is both easy to open when the litter box needs cleaned, but the latch is strong enough for the door to stay shut when the cat goes in and out through the smaller opening. Highly would reccommend this product and the dark brown wood color is beautiful!
