Bissell is the Best!
I have used Bissell Carpet cleaning products for 30+ years, and it is simply the best! I love the fact that they have the BISSELL 2X Allergen Cleansing Full Size Machine Formula, 60 ounces, 89Q52 available. My wife has a sensitivity condition, and any type of fragrance or strong smell affects her immediately. We switched to this Bissell Formula a number of years ago and she doesn’t have any reaction to it; it has no fragrance or smell to it. Plus, it cleans just as well as any of the other formulas. So, quite pleased that Bissell does provide this alternative to all the other cleaners that are loaded with fragrances.

Finally! UNSCENTED carpet cleaner.
I’m so utterly sick of all the products out there (and every commercial) that have fragrance as the primary selling feature. How about your house, body, hair, car, etc just smell clean?! People seem to be obsessed with masking odors with fragrance. I have asthma that is triggered by highly scented things, along with the other allergy and humidity triggers.OK, rant over. This BISSELL 2X Allergen Cleansing carpet cleaner cleans really well, doesn’t make a bunch of unnecessary foam, and, best of all, HAS VERY LITTLE SCENT! I’m buying extra, because we all know that when you find a great product, they will suddenly discontinue it, at least it seems that way.

Effective cleaning solution!
Bissell cleaning solution for pets is a beast! Our carpet areas where the dogs rule were simply a hot mess! I bought the Bissell shampooer that came with the pet shampoo sample, and it was amazing! I then bought the large allergen and the large general cleaning shampoos to try them all out. The pet one is definitely most affected for removing dirt and pet stains, but the other ones were fantastic as well. The tougher spots had to be cleaned a second time, but since the shampooer has a great sectioning mode if you don’t want to soak and wait (air dry), it was no biggie to go over spots as needed. It dries fast too! If you have pets, be sure to vacuum up as much fur as possible before shampooing. That makes the shampooing far more effective and efficient.

Did a good job without a strong smell
I never tried the “Professional” formula so I cannot compare the 2, but I can tell you this Allergan formula did a very good job on our medium-high pile carpets and did it without a strong fragrance. Our pets were walking in the rooms I cleaned as soon as we let them, and they would have steered clear if there was any trace of a strong odor. It does appear to have helped with the wife’s pollen allergies and our nephews pet allergies, however it is required to shampoo quite often to keep up this protection (Bissell recommends once a month). I could not find this Allergan formula in our area so I am glad Amazon had it and Amazon’s price appears to be very good compared against the other types I was able to find locally. But note, as at least one other reviewer stated, pay close attention to the price for the different sizes. At the time of my purchase the 60 oz. size was a good deal, but the 24 oz. size was not, as it cost almost as much as the 60 oz.

Good that it is safe removing allergens . . . for pets and people.
Seemed to help eliminate pollen on the carpeting since both my dog and I were having a reaction to it. Left the carpet clean and bright, too.

Great cleaning performance. Virtually scent free!
Finally! The Bissell Crosswave floor cleaner is the best available, but — until now — I have found all of the compatible cleaning solutions to be way too strongly scented. This one is not! I used to have to wait until everyone was out of my house to clean the floors because the smell was overwhelming. Not any more! If you think the other solutions smell too strongly, get this one. It’s virtually scent free and cleans perfectly! Thank Bissell!!!!

Sensitive to smell and this works for me
I rented a Rug Doctor upright carpet cleaner and used this cleaning solution on my home carpets. I am very sensitive to smell, hate fake fragrances and this didn’t bother me at all. My carpets are older and very dark in color so I don’t know exactly how clean it got them which may be more noticeable on a lighter carpet but the dirty water that I emptied from the machine was pretty nasty. I also could have done more passes with the machine, but had only used one once before many years prior and was figuring it out again. As I progressed along I did start to do that and I was able get what looked like a much deeper clean and noticed that the stains faded. If I wasn’t in such a time crunch to return the rental and had remembered to pre-treat the stains (which are harder to see on my dark carpet), I could have improved the cleaning power. I am really satisfied with the results anyway. The hardest and most time consuming part was having to move around my furniture to get to all areas of the carpet. If this product could do that for me, it would be perfect. lol
