Penny Approves This Flavor!
My 10-year-old miniature dachshund, Penny, had been happily eating the Prime Rib and NY Strip flavors for many months ā and then she suddenly refused them. I decided to try this flavor, and itās been a success! I like that this one has chunkier pieces instead of a pate texture. I add a little bit of canned chicken as a topper to entice her, and sheās eating again (huge relief!).She genuinely seems to enjoy this flavor, and weāll stick with it as long as sheāll eat it. Sheās definitely becoming more finicky as she gets older, so Iām thrilled to have found something she likes again.

my dog seemed to like the flavor
my dog liked the flavor but she wasn’t able to remain on this food because of her food allergies. like most dog food recipes it is geared for a larger dog so there was something in that was too much for her

One of our pugs has a delicate stomach and every other food we have tried has upset his stomach in one way or another. Then we found Blue Buffalo Basics! Itās made a world of difference for him. He loves eating it and his stomach is doing great!!

Absolutely disgusting. Opened it and itās full of bugs and crust. Smells horrible and got all over the place and on other items I ordered. Plus says not eligible for return. Absolutely disgusting and horrible.
