AWESOME!!!!!!
OMG!! These are the best little cameras!!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!. I have tried 4 different kinds before and none of them were of this quality. These are just AMAZING! I even have one on my partially enclosed porch to find out who keeps swiping little things ( like blankies, dishes, toys for my outside cats. I caught the little rascal. LOL!! My neighbors dog. You don’t have to prescribe to cloud either. I do have a Memory SD card, but I don’t even need it. You get 12 second replay for free. I can scroll the activities and can tell enough what’s going after that you can go into cloud storage and delete it if you want. I have the app on my phone, tablet and computer. I can watch from anywhere! So easy to setup and use. I work on my computer and have the phone sitting next to me watching what’s going (lots of pets) :-))))

Cameras are a great investment
It’s definitely giving great view and audio to be a small device and its given great output of what I wasn’t expecting to be coming from this camera

Good quality for price
For a camera that is less than $50 this is a great camera. I live in an apartment and I wanted to use it so it could face out the front window since I don’t have a peephole in the front door.Once I bought it I faced it out and I could not see anything except the camera’s reflection. So I moved it to just face the inside of the apartment which worked fine. I was really upset that facing it out the window didn’t work. However, now that I’ve had it for a couple weeks I finally learned that the night vision setting was set to auto, which could not be used facing a window. Now the night vision setting is turned off so I can see.The camera works wonderfully. The motion sensor is kind of sensitive which I think is great. I also love that it saves the moments that happen in a folder so I can view them all in one place.Drawbacks: 1. You have to pay $4.99/mo or some amount a year to have 24/7 recording that you can play back. 2. The app can take a while to load and open. 3. Sometimes the camera doesnt work for a few minutes. 4. Very obvious if used as an outdoor cameraPros: 1. Inexpensive 2. App makes it easy to check on home when you are away 3. Picks up movement and sound very easily and accurately 4. Video quality is pretty clear and good quality 5. Night vision setting works well when not blocked by window

The older model was much better
I bought this camera seeing that it is now a 2K resolution and decided I would upgrade the front door camera from the 1080p model they used to sell. Got it and setup was great, simple and easy just like the older model. The camera is good at it’s motion detection features, crisp audio and video (since it’s 2K) and even the facial recognition is good. This is where the good stuff ends however. Not even a week into owning this upgraded model camera and it started going offline on its own. It’s located right beside the WiFi router and I have to constantly plug out and plug back in for it to reconnect on its own. I have another older model 1080p camera that’s used for the side of the house and is further away from the router but has never yet dropped signal. Suddenly for the past week the camera has gone offline and re-plugging it in does not work. I removed the camera from the app with the intention of re adding it from scratch. This did not work unfortunately. Whenever I get to the QR code page and it beeps twice, it says “camera is having trouble connecting to the network” and never connects. It’s been over a week now and I am still unable to connect. I have been trying everyday and as of writing this review, I have switched back to my older 1080p model which connected right away when I re-added the camera. Now I have a useless paperweight here.P.S. I tried a total of 3 different internet connections. One from the router directly, one from the wifi repeater and even the hotspot from my phone (all set to 2.4ghz) but still hasn’t worked. This is very frustrating. I was even looking to buy 3 more to get full coverage of my house but now it seems I may have to look elsewhere.

Worked for three weeks
This was the third device I ordered of this exact model (A12S). The first two are working. This one had a difficult time connecting to the network. After fighting with it, it worked for a few weeks and is now offline again. I am outside of the return window. So, the best I can do is either gamble on purchasing another or go another route. When it was working, it gave me a clear view of the area that I want to monitor and was a cost effective way to do it. It just does not seem to be as consistent as I had hoped.

Have been using SriCam SH025 and YI Dome camera for monitoring my home when I travel. This time I need one still security camera for monitoring the front door of the home where my parents live. Bought this Bluarms Home Pro security camera for Rs.2299.The camera has a base attachment for attaching on the wall and with a twist the camera can be fit. 2 screws and plastic corks were also given. The back of the camera has a speaker which can be used for the two way communication so when I talked through the phone the audio came out through the speaker on the camera. The back side also has the micro-usb charging port. The side of the camera has the MicroSD card slot and I inserted a strontium 32GB Class 10 card. The front of the camera which has the lens also has 6 led for nigh vision. The camera can tilt 90% for the camera can be fit on the wall above the door in a tilted 90 degree angle for monitoring the door with the camera being inside the home. I haven’t yet fixed the camera but I tested in various locations.I installed the bluarms app from playstore. The app does not have single sign-on with google or facebook so I had to signup with an email id and password. This is a bit of a let down as I have to remember the username and passwords for various such devices. The camera setup was a breeze and it was similar to YI or Sricam where I just need to select the type of camera from the app, use a 2.4Ghz wifi channel and show the qr code infront the camera to get it paired. The voice prompts on the camera was quite useful during the setup. The app has a library tab where short clips of the video or snapshot from the camera is stored. In YI Dome camera when there is a motion detected and alert happens a short clip is stored on the phone that’s sycned from the sd card or from the cloud. There is an option to choose where the video should be read from, whether from sd card or cloud. The cloud storage is given a 7 day trial and after that it paid. The cloud storage is on the higher side as it’s $14.9 for 30 days of 24hrs recording for single camera, whereas in YI dome it was just $11 for 30 days motion detection recording for 5 cameras. If using a single bluarms camera then it’s just $4.99 per month but for 7 days video loop history.Such short clips recording was not there in Sricam and YI Dome has a short clip.I was able to invoke or turn off and on the camera using Alexa skill but installing the bluarms skill. The camera has option to record continuously or only when motion is detected. Also has sensitivity level and I used the normal sensitivity as keep it higher gave me alerts even for small insects flying at night. The device timeoff setting helped as I didn’t want my camera to operate 24/7 and was able to do a scheduled shutdown. There is also a facial recognition feature which can detect known and unknown faces but currently am using the cloud plan so not sure if facial recognition works without the cloud. The camera also has options to check if motion is detected in only certain area under the area covered by the camera. I was able to setup privacy zones, a feature which allowed to protect areas of the coverage that should not be recorded. This functionality is not available on the YI cam I have and Sricam has this feature.Initially the camera’s image was a bit warped or curved on the side but there was an option to dewarp and which I liked the images. The night mode can be turned on automatically and images at night were very clear. The 6 leds were and not bright. The camera’s status led indicator can be turned off and so was the microphone.Overall in my option this camera is great with it’s anti-flicker 60hz full hd recording, facial recognition, cloud service, night vision, privacy zone and many other features which I felt was good for the price. The only thing I felt the camera could have done well was the speed of image transfers. Though the camera is for still recording and not like the dome camera, if the camera is moved quickly the image sync is not quick which wasn’t a deal breaker for me as I use this as a fixed camera. I only wish the camera app login has a single sign-on.
