Good purchase
The shampoo was good. I didn’t use half the bottle as other shampoos in the past just to feel like I got a good lather on my dog. He’s not really munching on himself like he used to either before his bath so the shampoo seems nice and soothing on his skin. The silicone deshedding brush worked really well too. Helped me really get in his fur and get everything soaped up really well. He does shed a lot but it feels like more fur came off him this time than in the past.

I like this! Suds up really well during bathtime
I was recommended this product by “Embark” (dog DNA testing company – lol) based on my dog’s breed mix. My pup is basically a hairball with legs, so I’m open to trying any product that can help tame the mane! I used this brush on her pre-bath just to see what it did; it didn’t grab a lot of hair when dry, but she seemed to like the bristles on this brush (good for mini-massages or scratches).I then used this brush during her bath (a lengthy process) and this product made it SO much easier. It lathered up the shampoo/conditioner really well and helped distribute it through her hair. She is a ‘double-coat’ dog (similar fur to to huskies, golden retrievers, etc.) so getting the shampoo/conditioner distributed to her undercoat can be hit or miss, but this product helped with that so much. Made the process easier, faster, & more thorough.I did find that my hand slipped out of the grip a few times which was a little annoying – but not annoying enough to stop using it! I just slid it back on my hand like a slipper and continued. The brush took off quite a bit of hair (yay) and in a much smoother way than if I used hands only. Removing the wet hair from the brush was very easy – it just sort of peeled off in a clump/mat. Super easy to set aside (away from the drain!)I definitely recommend this product if you have a furball on legs – especially for those with an undercoat! I will be using this for every bath moving forward. Great recommendation from Embark! 🙂

Great bathing tool, but…
This brush was great for bathing my dogs, but I’m giving it four stars because the product information specifically says it can be used on wet or dry fur, and it didn’t work nearly as well for us as a dry brush. I have two shiba inus. Their double coat can get pretty unruly when the weather changes and they start to shed, so we’re always on the look out for good deshedding tools. I had heard good things about using these type of brushes for bathing a shiba, and in the bath it definitely delivered! It did a great job helping to loosen up and remove excess undercoat, which was easy enough to remove from the brush with the help of running water. I was really hoping that I could use this between baths as well to help cut down on shedding, but there it fell flat.The big name brush we normally use has a small button you can push to help eject the fur, so maybe I’m spoiled, but my dogs hair is long enough to build up and get sort of stuck in this brush. We tried, as the product info suggests, tapping on the back of the brush while gently pulling the fur (which, by the way, almost requires a third hand) but it still felt very tedious. On top of that, it didn’t seem nearly as effective at actually grabbing on to and removing the loose fur, and after several minutes of dry brushing there was almost as much visible loose fur on my dog as there was stuck in the brush. This may work well as a dry brush for dogs and other animals with very short hair and little or no undercoat, but for dogs with longer fur and/or a lot of undercoat you may spend just as much time picking their hair out of the brush as you do trying to brush them. We’ll only use this at bath time going forward. I received this product at a discount in exchange for this honest review.

My dog enjoyed the brushing
My dog loved it when I used the brush during bathing. She didn’t get upset with me. It worked well with her thick coat. It took care of the tangle in her fur. She enjoyed the massage it provided for her. Made my life easier to handle her brushing in the bath and outside the bath. No compliants. It worked very well. Thank you.

My dog Actually enjoyed hey bath!
I was super impressed with this brush! My pup has sensitive skin, so bath time can be a bit tricky, but she loved this. The soft bristles gave her a gentle massage, and she actually relaxed instead of trying to jump out of the tub.The quality is great — it feels sturdy and well made, not cheap at all. It’s also super easy to hold, even when it’s wet and soapy. I was able to work the shampoo into her coat really well without scratching or irritating her skin.I’ve used it a few times now and it still looks brand new, so it’s definitely durable. If your dog has sensitive skin or just deserves a little spa treatment, this brush is totally worth it!

Does the Job Without Any Fuss
The shampoo brush seems okay. It was gentle on my Siberian cat’s thick fur and helped during bath time. Nothing fancy, but it did the job without upsetting her.

The best tool for giving a bath.
I love this. It is so easy to hold onto unlike the gloves that people use. This you can just put your hand in and put your finger right over the top. I can also say that my pup forgot she was getting a back a couple of times and just enjoys the rubbing with this. It really works the shampoo in and gets out loose fur. Great for short haired dogs.

This is a great brush for introducing pet brushing to your puppy. The regular brushes scared my puppy but this soft massaging brush made her completely submissive. It was pretty good for her first bath too. I believed it helped her not be terrified of getting a bath.

These fit my hands which is good. They’re large (my hands) and I find consumer products to be inconsistent. The blue was pretty much 2 for 1, and wouldn’t be my first choice, but you definitely cannot beat it. I don’t think the dog cares, either.The dog has short hair and she sheds easily. She’s a baby, sometimes, and randomly whines for no reason other than to get attention I think. She wants to be brushed if the cats get brushed. If they don’t, she cries.These are much better than the one I purchased at the groomer’s. The plastic is shorter and less stiff, which I’m sure we both appreciate, yet it still gets to the base of her coat.I use one on each hand when brushing, but I do the same to shampoo her. I hoped the hair would lift out of the bristles easily, but it doesn’t; however water just washes it right into the drain’s hair collector. Nice and easy to use and to clean up.
