When I purchased this product for my couches . it’s pretty but once I received it and I put on my couches it was the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen my dog as soon as I put it on he went right to lie down on it now what does that tell you.

Very satisfied with purchase and so is our coon hound. Keeps the furniture protected and love the grip it don’t slip!

Small, ineffective, and overpriced
This is a small thin square piece of fabric that will cover only one seat cushion – and it doesn’t even protect that one seat cushion well, as it is easy to move/flip up. It does have some non-slip backings but that did not seem to help it from being all messed up when I got home, after my dog later on it for a couple of hours.The first photo is after I’ve put on this “couch cover” fabric, tucking it into the cushion to secure it. The second photo is what it looked like when I came home.Sadly, I have a leather couch which my dog seems to dig in, which has quite literally ripped a while in almost every couch cushion. No matter how much I punish him or try to keep him off my couch, as soon as he leaves he jumps up on the couch and digs the fabric in an attempt to make himself more comfortable. Therefore I’ve been looking for a couch protector solution to this problem of mine- and this is NOT it!The design itself looks great- but it’s far too expensive as everything is sold separately and in order to cover even a two cushion couch- would cost over $140; my couch is a 5 cushion couch which I’m sure would cost me $300-$400 having to buy all the individual cushion, backrest, and armrest pieces. Then there’s the fact that it doesn’t actually stay in place or protect your couch from the nails of your pets.I had high hopes for this product but sadly it simply doesn’t work for my family’s needs.

I share my home with my husband and 4 cats. We’ve dealt with every bodily fluid that can come out of a cat as you might imagine. While it’s fairly easy to clean and sanitize a hard surface like a floor, it’s a different story when it comes to the fabric on my couch. After a couple of times of finding a hairball on my couch, I knew I needed to do something so I could save my couch from ruin. I threw an old towel on the arm that they all fight over to sit on until I could find something more appropriate. I needed something that I could leave in place but was lightweight and easy to throw in the wash if needed.I saw the XSlive Boho Plush Couch Covers for Sofa Washable, Fuzzy Soft Couch Covers and thought it would be a perfect solution to my cat problems. It has a lovely boho jacquard geometrical design and came in many colors, was soft and lightweight and big bonus – it is waterproof! I decided to get one piece of the collection for the arm of my chair to try out before I invested in multiple pieces to fit the whole couch.The backing of the cover is made from silicone rubber in a dotted pattern across the back which is what keeps it from moving around or slipping off. I’ve not had to reposition it or pick it up off the floor once since I put it on the arm of my couch. I was pleasantly surprised me at how well it stayed in place.Now that I see the functionality and beauty of this piece, I can’t wait to purchase the additional pieces I’ll need to cover the whole couch. The collection has a variety of different size pieces that will fit almost any size couch. I haven’t had to wash it yet, however, I think it will do fine on the gentle cycle in the wash and then I’ll hang it to dry.As you can see in the pictures, my one-eyed Kirby cat approved immediately. I definitely recommend this quality couch cover should you ever be in need of one. It’s a godsend for my multi-cat household but it would also be perfect if you are caring for an elderly incontinent loved one or have a small child who has yet to be potty trained. I don’t think you will be disappointed – I know that I wasn’t.
