**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Paws — “My Dog Eats Better Than I Do.”**Let me start by saying: if there were a Michelin Guide for dog food, **Canidae All Life Stages Multi-Protein Recipe** would definitely earn a 5 star (or at least a slobbery paw print of approval).This stuff has *everything* — chicken, turkey, lamb, and fish. It’s basically the dog version of a surf-and-turf buffet. My pup acts like he’s dining at a five-star restaurant every time I open the bag. The tail starts wagging before I even get the scoop out, and the drool levels? Frankly, impressive.The multi-protein formula means I can finally stop playing “guess the kibble” with different foods for different ages. It’s good for puppies, adults, seniors — basically anyone with fur and an appetite. I’ve got one energetic zoomie machine and one chill couch potato, and somehow this food pleases both.Bonus points: it doesn’t have that overpowering “dog food smell” that makes you question your life choices when you open the bag. My kitchen still smells like a kitchen — not a kennel.And let’s be honest: the ingredient list is cleaner than most of the takeout I eat. My dogs loves this food
This food has been great for my dog’s digestion and energy levels. We switched to this real chicken and grains recipe easily, with no stomach upset. His coat looks much shinier now, too. It is clear this is a premium food with simple, healthy ingredients. I trust this brand completely for his daily meals.

High quality, Fair price
For the price point, this is an excellent quality dry dog food. I feed three different breeds and life stages and they all do well on this food and seem to enjoy the taste. One of my dogs has tried multiple other foods and always had skin and coat issues which resolved when switching to this food. You should be mindful that the multi-protein recipe contains four different proteins, so if there are new ingredients your dog hasn’t been exposed to, you may want to try introducing them to those before purchasing the food to ensure they aren’t allergic.

Marley, my 13 year old Stafforshire Terrier (a member of the Pit bull breed) had a terrible problem with gas and was losing her hair and had become sluggish and bloated. I took her to the vet thinking it was her thyroid, but 500$ and a clean bill of health later, the vet said she was just very old for a dog her size. The vet said it might be her diet that was causing her bloat and foul smelling farts (these farts were 10 times worse than your run-of -the mill foul dog fart) so I switched from dog chow, benefuls, to diamond, and finally to pedigree (all of this was done slowly and over the course of a few months) But the farting continued and got so bad that she no longer was welcome in my bedroom at night because the farts were so horrific smelling that they would wake me from a dead sleep. I had to have her outside more often than not because it was affecting my families ability to be in the same room with her and it was breaking my heart that her gas frequency had become so bad that she couldn’t even be around us. Her hair continue to fall out and the hair that was shaved when the vet removed a skin tag, had still not grown back after 6 months.After another search for dog food, I found this brand. After reading the reviews, which some honestly sounded too good to be true, I went ahead and pulled the trigger despite the higher cost. I can honestly say this was the best money I’ve ever spent. I’ve had this dog food for 4 weeks now and I can’t remember the last time she farted. She even snuck into my room last night to sleep and I didn’t realize she was in the bed until I woke up this morning. Her hair that had been all but gone from her thighs, nose, and belly has grown back and the bald spot from the biopsy site is almost completely grown in. Her coat has a shine to it, she is looking leaner and no longer looks bloated, plus she has a spring in her step that I haven’t seen in a couple of years. She even went on a long hike in the mountains with me and had the energy to keep up. If it weren’t for the grey hair on her nose you never would think she was a 12 year old dog. I’m a believer in this dog food and now understand that diet can make all the difference in a dog’s health- I always thought it was just a gimmick used to sell dog food. I now have this as a subscription delivery and will be feeding Marley and all my future dogs this brand of dog food! Thank you, Canidae, for giving me my clean smelling house back!
