Fast and Effective Flea Relief
I recently used Capstar for my two Yorkies (3 lbs and 6 lbs) after spotting signs of fleas, and I am extremely impressed with how well it worked. By the end of the day, both dogs were noticeably more comfortable, and the scratching had stopped. The product was easy to give, caused no side effects, and delivered exactly what it promised — fast relief from adult fleas. I understand it’s a short-term solution and doesn’t provide ongoing protection, but as an immediate “flea knockout,” it’s absolutely worth having on hand.If your pet needs quick relief, especially to stop an active flea problem before starting long-term prevention, Capstar is a lifesaver. I’ll definitely be keeping a box in my pet care kit from now on.

Definitely worth the price
Works great! in a short amount of time I noticed the dead fleas. It’s especially great if you have an infestation to get under control. I use these first and then I’ll use a topical. I really appreciate the fact that none of my animals have had a side effect. It’s expensive but definitely worth it

Really works!!
After a ton of research, capstar has been one of the best items I’ve used to get rid of fleas within the hour. It truly does work and it didn’t give any reactions to my dogs. About a few hours after we gave the medicine to them, we bathed them with flea and tick shampoo and we haven’t seen any fleas since then! Of course they are on a preventative but somehow they got active fleas. BUT this capstar was a lifesaver.

Lasted a few hours
It only works for a few hours

Effective if you understand its purpose
I have used these for many years, even though I also use a monthly preventative. Fleas and ticks are ridiculous this year and these are great for the in-between times. Many of the negative reviewers don’t understand the purpose of this product. It is NOT a preventative. It doesn’t treat ticks. Capstar kills adult fleas only for just a short amount of time. Keep in mind that if your pet has fleas and is chewing, he is at risk for tapeworms as well.

Not sure if it works because I still see fleas.
I’m giving this purchase of three star the quantity was good but they didn’t work as well as I thought they would. Because my dogs still had fleas. For the first few days after they would take the medication I didn’t see them scratching at all but with two weeks they were scratching and I started seeing fleas again I’m not sure if there’s something else I need to do. I wound up giving them the second dose early thinking maybe it just needs to get in their system better I don’t know yet if that’s the issue or if the medication is an as strong as they claim.
