Must have for collectors
Well, I have had this Digital pet for 4 days now and I absolutely love it.It’s cute. It’s nostalgic, but most of all it is fun to tend to.I will conceed that the intros to the games are a bit tedious, long with examples on the very basic two games.Game one is a path navigation game. You got a dodge little bushes in your way. 3 strikes you lose.Second game is a card matching game. Both have 5+ second intro scenes where they give you an example of how to play before starting. The saving grace is you don’t have to win any of these games to make the happy stat go up. The card game tends to be fastest win or lose. The growth I am enjoying. My Grumpy Bear went from a little baby bear to a big grumpy bear, but he’s still cute as a button.Care wise I will say this one is easy to keep up with for me. But I still have a few OG working vintage Digipets, so the meter drain pace feels slow compared to that though it’s probably quicker than a tamagotchi. All in all I recommend this one to casual digital pet enjoyers and collectors alike. I am probably gonna purchase another myself.

What memories this brings.
My wife’s review:The Care Bears Digital Pet arrives in a plastic shell.I ordered this as a Christmas stocking filler for daughter this year so my review will not focus on the game play but more on the cute exterior and nostalgia factor of Grumpy Bear.Basically this is a version of the old T’gochi games that our kids in the ’80s and and early ’90s had and for which all of us parents had to babysit while the kids were at school. Who can forget the tantrum and tears if one died? The only thing that would have made this game better is if I were able to give it to a grandkid who would then force my daughter to experience the joy of babysitting a Vtoy as an adult. The graphics look about the same but the two games seem like they are a little more interactive than the earlier vintage toys. I just remember “feeding” and “care” duties. But the cute factor is off the charts with the little blue plastic case of Grumpy Bear. Batteries are included.

These may not be the modern day graphics but to vintage collector of care bears these are the toys we didn’t get back in the 80s.Similar idea to tamagotchi instead this time your raising a care bear that you can feed, play with etc just remember not to let it die

It’s a good little toy, comparible to the older style tamagotchis. I collect tamas and care bears so this fit well with both. It’s pretty simple to use and if you’re used to tamagotchis or digital pets, you’ll know how this goes.No where near as extensive as some of the modern offerings but still fun.Screen obviously has no colour itself, but the small back image is clear and the shell is vibrant and big enough to hold, but smaller hands might find it bulky.Worth the money I paid, and it was a fair price.

Abit of nostalgia game play for the adults and new entertainment for the children to enjoy. The device is shaped in funshine bears head, bright yellow in colour and a small screen to view your bear on. 4 buttons to operate, playing games, feeding your bear, Nurture it and helping it grow. Like the game play i remember as a child, keeping your virtual pet entertained and alive. Small enough to put in your pocket and take around with you, enjoying abit of entertainment throughout the day. My children quite enjoyed playing with it, although keeping it alive is still as challenging and frustrating as what it’s always been.
