Not just for dogs
Says it’s for a dog but I bought one of these as an “outdoor” blanket and I haven’t regretted my purchase at all! This blanket is so rugged on one side, and warm and cozy on the other. This is great for when it’s cold outside and you don’t want to just sit in a cold chair, I throw this down when I go out at night to smoke medicine, use this for bon fires either sitting in a camping chair or on a log, use this when working under the jeep, just throw it down and lay on the cozy side and you’ll wish you got one for yourself, not your dog, sooner lol. So durable, still looks brand new and I use this almost daily. Great price for such a rugged, amazing blanket. Easy to wash, takes a little longer to dry but don’t skip on these, these are great overall heavier blankets. Size is a tad short and it does take a while to get the stiffness out but again, this is marketed for dogs.. break it in and you’ll love it.

Great pet banket!
I like all things Carhartt, including this blanket. I don’t understand the things to rate above because to me they are irrelevant. Nothing made of fabric is “chew proof” to a determined K-9 on a mission. They are just the right amount of “soft” while keeping that rugged Carhartt feel and durability. I wouldn’t want them to be any softer. Of course they are a little water resistant when new, but the fact that they are machine washable is great. If you want to keep the best water repellency, and you plan on putting these in the washing machine, just buy a can of Scotchgaurd and drive on. I wish they would add a larger human size. It would be a great camping blanket or bedroll on the back of your best Harley or horse. I would probably even use it on my bed if a larger size was offered. They also make great shipping blankets to help carry breakable stuff in a pickup or van. Multiple uses, rugged, and high quality. I recommend this product. The only downside is that they are not made in USA. Mine say made in Cambodia. I suppose that’s better than China, but they should be made here in America.

Great for dogs in car. Ok for two people to sit their bottoms on or put across lap. VERY durable just like Carhartt coats, and warm Sherpa lining.

I bought this for my dog that sheds like crazy it captures a lot of his hair and is easy to clean. Truly a Carhartt he loves it and I’ve taken it out a time or two to use as a park blanket I’ve had it over a year now and it still looks brand new well worth the investment.

Throw blanket or dog blanket?
Bought this for my dog, she likes to lay on the bed but I didn’t want her hair on my blankets. So I got her this. I’m really confused, is this a throw blanket for humans that I’ve elected to use for my dog? Or is it a dog blanket that pulls double duty as an outdoor or picnic blanket? Either way durable and does what it needs to; covers things.

I have tried so many different throws and pads for our dog, the amount is exhausting, but I wanted to find one that is truly warm and soft but yet, has a water resistant and easy to clean side as well. Let me explain – Our dog is old and doesn’t travel well, so she needs to be in a crate in the car, for reference she is only 38 lbs. She pants and loses a lot of hair on the rides so I wanted tsomething that would be easy to wash and not bulky like a thick pad. After so many fails and returns, I decided to just go for it and get this – after all it is a Carhartt, so I know I am getting quality. Well, I wish I would have ordered this one from the get-go! Totally worth the money. It is easily washable, the water resistant side cleans up easily! It is so soft and folds up nicely for taking inside or outside. We use it inside for our baby girl to lay on so she doesn’t lay directly on the furniture. It’s perfect and very warm as well. I shouldn’t have wasted my time trying the other pads and cheaper throws for dogs. I am hopeful it will last a long time. We’ve already washed it at least a dozen times. Still going strong!

Very nice
This is a really nice little throw blanket. The material is really nice and comfy from my perspective. I bought to use in my truck for my dogs but ended up in my bedroom instead…Will get another one for the truck like I intended. Washing it was simple, wash in cold, dry on lowest setting for like 25 minutes as it says to hang dry, I didn’t have any issues washing and drying it.But definitely getting another one…

Die Sitzbank im Auto abdecken , das Flies nach unten , Canvas nach oben und man kann grobe Dinge Laden ohne die Sitze zu ruinieren. Danach die Decke auf dem Sofa , das Flies nach oben und man hat eine weiche, kuschelige Teddyfutter-Decke . Am nächsten Tag den nassen Hund damit wärmen , diese Decke macht alles mit wenn man vernünftig damit umgeht . Komplett gesäumt, doppelt vernäht, wer den Carhartt Style mag wird sie lieben. So wie wir .
