Roomy for a cat
Shipping is quick and the item is as described. The item did have a slight odor out of the plastic it came out n but that went away overnight.

A SAFE, UNIQUE & GREAT CAT CARRIER!!
This is a really nice cat carrier! I REALLY LIKE IT! It is also a large and roomy cat carrier measuring about 18 inches by 12 inches and 12 inches tall. It can hold pets up to 21 pounds which I really like because I have a couple large cats weighing 16 and 18 pounds. I love that they have room in this “tote like” carrier and are not squished in it. This is a very sturdy and safe carrier. All 4 sides of this unique carrier and the top can be unzipped and opened/laid down. The two long sides of this carrier have the canvas material on the outside and a fleece pet mat on the inside for your pet. One of the short sides is a solid canvas material, while the other side is a screen mesh. The top is also a screen mesh. The best way to put your pet in this carrier is through one of the short sides or through the top. The most unique thing about this carrier is that both long sides can be unzipped to lay flat down and there is a screen mesh that encloses the whole area keeping the whole carrier completely enclosed. This extra space allows your pet more room to stretch out and be more comfortable when stuck in this carrier for long periods of time, such as when they are at the vet. What a GREAT idea and design! This gives your pet roughly about a 32 inch area to stretch out on their fleece mat, while still being fully enclosed in this carrier. Such a great design. Then when you are ready to pick it up and go, this screen mesh folds back up and both long sides very easily zip back up. So impressive! Really a nice design. This tote like carrier has two handles so you can carry it like a tote, but also has a long, adjustable shoulder strap so you can carry it on your shoulder. The only thing I would like added to this carrier would be locking zippers for added safety and security as I have a very clever cat. (I currently use zip ties or a paper clip to “lock” the zippers together). This carrier is also airline quality and has a large luggage strap so you can slip it on top of your rolling luggage bag. This is seriously a very nice cat/pet carrier that I highly recommend.This carrier also came with a few other items that I found a bit strange. It came with some tiny cardboard kitty litter boxes that would be great for training/using with little baby kittens, nail clippers, and a cat nail file. (What cat files their nails?? lol) I haven’t tried these other items yet, but I’m thinking the nail file ought to be a fun thing to try…lol I didn’t even know that existed for cats. I will come back and update this after trying that out if I’m not all scratched up…lol

Smells awful, but otherwise a nice carrier
I’ve had this sitting out for three days and it still has a strong chemical smell. I’m not sure what to do about that. Otherwise….this came folded completely flat, it’s designed to do that. Would store really well. It zippers open at either end and the three sided pad velcros into that area. Both sides open up like a little tent, and then you can have the sides of the pad laying down in those areas. There is also a zippered opening at the top, so there is plenty of air circulation. One of the zipper ends has a smaller zippered cat door in it, which seemed a little redundant. There is a shoulder strap as well as regular handles.I like that it keeps its shape while opened up, it doesn’t try to fold down at all. I wouldn’t guess it did that if it hadn’t been packed that way. My cat immediately got in to check it out, and likes to just sit inside it. The zippers seem strong, too. I had to get this to replace a different carrier that he pushed against the zippers hard enough to seperate them. I don’t think he can do that with this carrier.This also comes with cat nail clippers and a cat nail file. I’ve never seen a cat nail file before, ht will be interesting to try. It also comes with some disposable litter boxes, but they are quite small. I guess to fit inside one of the pop out tent sides, but I’m not sure my cat has that good of aim. He’d probably dig a spot in it and then pee next to it!

Folds flat for storage, has plenty of room for cat to have a safe and secure spot
This cat carrier worked out perfectly when I had to leave one of my cats with a friend for a weekend. It works as a standard cat carrier, but the sides expand out so that there is a large amount of space for my cat to hang out and still feel safe and contained while getting comfortable in a new, unfamiliar space.The expanded cat carrier acted as kind of a “home base” for my cat while she was at my friend’s house – my friend had her food and water placed inside her cat tent where she felt comfortable to eat from the safety of her expanded carrier. I do think that having this option for her made her more comfortable faster, since she had someplace where she could stretch out in peace.

Excellent pet carrier!
I’m very happy with the quality of this Airline Approved Expandable Pet Carrier. It’s nicer than I was expecting! At 17 pounds, my boy cat is rather long and heavy so this soft sided expandable carrier is much better for him than his previous one. This carrier is accurately measured in the description and seems very well made. I think he’ll be quite happy and safe in this fold-able carrier with its breathable mesh panels for ventilation and airflow, dual-way zippers, and reinforced stitching. The removable bottom piece (to add structure for carrying/transporting) has a soft fleece type material on the top surface. The back side even has a slit pocket across the width below where the shoulder strap attaches.This pet bag stores fairly flat and is easy to pop into shape with the sides expanded out so kitty can chill in the car or waiting at the vet. It comes with some extras like nail clippers and a file, but more importantly 5 individually wrapped travel litter boxes. They’re shallow and not huge but will do in a pinch! I plan to add this to my car earthquake kit, along with a small bag of litter.
