Good for air travel . Still recommend to keep pet in leash in case they get anxiety and try to get out ! But my cat was comfy and no issues. Cat is 9-10lb

Puppy crate for transporting a dog within the passenger cabin
Brought a puppy home to Alaska all the way from Philadelphia. Puppy never fussed while at my feet on the plane. Crate is soft sided and only used for transporting a dog on a commercial flight inside the passenger cabin. Had to have it verified at check in but all went well with Alaska Airlines.

Unsafe Carrier—Broke Within Minutes
My cat tore a hole through the mesh of this carrier within 10 minutes of use, making it unsafe for travel. During my 10-hour journey I had to keep patching it with duct tape, and my cat repeatedly tried to push his head through the hole—an extremely stressful experience that should never have happened. For comparison, his previous carrier lasted over 8 months of regular use without issues; unfortunately that one didn’t meet airline size requirements, which is why I tried this one. The basic design and dimensions are fine, but the mesh material—especially around the seams—needs a major redesign for durability. Had it held up, I would have given this 4 stars, but as it stands, it’s not safe or reliable.

The cat liked it.
The cat liked it. She was a long term border with us. She was taken back to her owner who moved to Texas, so we sent her with her owners Mother to take the cat home. We bought the cat cage as a gift because the ones we had were not airlines approved. As soon as we bought it the cat was rubbing all over it and even walked through it several times. We had it on the floor so she would not be frightened by it when we put her into it for her flight. We did give her something from the vet to calm her down and it all worked out great. It has transparent panels so the cat can look out on all four sides. It also fits under the seat of the Delta airliner on which she traveled. I also noticed it was very well made. Cheers.

This carrier feels sturdy, but I’m noticing cut corners on manufacturing, first off, there is no pamphlet describing features on it, the Velcro does not seem very sturdy in spots, mainly the side covers when you roll them up, the Velcro seems weak, and it’s also not fully sewed down. Some of the seams are not complete (loose strings). Also, the should pad for the should carry option, won’t go past the adjustment buckle, so you’re kinda stuck with one length for the shoulder carry option..Otherwise this thing seems fairly darn sturdy. I did notice a few reviews stating it can’t hold up to as much weight as claimed, however I cannot comment on that because I got this to transport my parakeets when we travel or go to the vet.

Works great/durable
I have two nervous traveling cats. I recently relocated and had to take them on 3 separate flights. I ordered the carriers about a month in advance and put their food in the carriers until travel day. That way they were already comfortable going in. The carrier works great! It’s durable! Make sure you have it zipped all the way. 100% recommend. Travel tip: I also put harnesses on them because don’t like to move as much while wearing them.
