Perfect sizing now — soft sides will adjust to future reduction in aircraft seat spacing 😐
Lightweight, nice material, looks nice. This a perfect travel carrier for your small dog to medium sized cat. I’ll give it a test run the next vet visit but it was primarily purchased to have on-hand ready for emergency travel. It stows flat making it ideal for that and it feels durable enough for more routine use — when you think about it, it will see more use on one flight than it will for just the short round trip to your vet 1-4 times a year. The internal frame is not stiff-arm rigid, but rigid as you would expect any soft side carrier to be. There is always going to be some flex especially with added weight. The bag was tested with 15lbs of distributed weight — the sides did not collapse inward and the bottom framework remained straight. The bottom stretched as all soft side cases do under load but it held its shape very well and returned to original shape when eased. NOTE: This was without the rigid floorboard installed. When I went to tidy up, I realized there was an included separate stiff floor section that I initially overlooked. I swapped out the video testing the weight with this floor now installed which proves negligible deflection. You’ll want to add some bedding to the carrier for comfort and added support. Here, I think it is important to reference another review where the inclusion of two “doors” on one end was questioned. The perimeter zippers are all structural, they should really not be used for ingress and egress. They are nylon and do run smooth but may not be the heaviest of duty. I personally would zip tie the pulls together minimizing zipper wear and so the frame does not have its shape repeatedly altered which should better preserve it for the long haul. Use the smaller flap on one end for access, or the top zipped fly of course.I don’t use shoulder straps on pet carriers. Shoulder straps always create more sag owing to the attachment points being farthest apart. I just don’t like the way it feels and it looks dubious, especially with it bouncing up and down while walking. The clasps on this one seem a little light but I’m sure they are weight appropriate. When not used as a pocket, a pass through sleeve on the side will allow your luggage handle to slide through for easiest transport. There’s also a clip on a fixed tether inside which I’m assuming is for attaching to your pet’s collar. I don’t know if a collar is mandatory when traveling with the public but I doubt I would use it as it seems like your pet can get twisted up right quick tied to it.Overall, I think this is an excellent soft-sided pet carrier. Briefly tested using 150% of my cat’s weight, I have high confidence it will function well when needed. And because I initially overlooked the rigid floor piece, the fact it did not have excessive sag with 15 pounds on the bare bottom alone gives me even higher confidence.Excellent supportive carrier!

One of the better carriers I’ve used
This particular cat carrier is perhaps one of the better ones I’ve had and used.I have a 13.8lb cat, she is a Tibetan and 17 years young. She HATES traveling, and lets you know the ENTIRE time. This carrier has a few features I like and one I’m sort of confused about:-the dual openings, for the times they want to go to the furthest corner they can! In this carrier the openings allow for full access which is nice-especially helpful for the vet.-the leash holder, for those that like to bolt out of there like lightning and scurry off to parts unknown. This kind of gives them less of a head start out the gate.-the carrying strap, and handles, for either way of carrying. Whichever method you choose, both are comfortable.-the removable pad, which has a soft fleece cover and keeps the carrier from bowing when in hand. It’s really soft and kinda feels like her blanket she sleeps on..The confusing part: the side pocket. It has a zipper on the bottom of the pocket rather than the top? Not sure if that was a mishap in production or if it serves a purpose… time will tell! Lol..Overall, it’s durable, functional, and sturdy for what it’s intended for! One of the more easier and sensible carriers I’ve gotten and intend on keeping!

Nice and big!
I got this for one of my 3 cats and it does not disappoint! I like the black and Grey colors on it as well as the fact that there are double zippers on the two sides as well as the top. It has a long adjustable strap and two shorter straps that velcro together. It, also, has a zipper opening on the side to be able to slide it over the handle of a luggage bag if traveling with your pet. The opening on top is able to velcro close when you roll the flap which I like as well. I thought this carrier was a pretty good size and seems durable. I put one of my cats in it and left the opening open on top and she seemed curious and didn’t immediately jump out. I’m leaving the top open so they can jump in and investigate and maybe even take naps in there on the soft cushioned mat that detaches. I would definitely recommend!

Zippers Can Be Tricky/Mine Is Lopsided
I am going to be flying with my small dog and this carrier will fit her dimensions. It comes folded completely flat and it needs to be unfolded and insert the crate mat to help give it shape. Once it is unfolded, the zippers need to be zipped shut to allow it stand upright. Some of the zippers were a little tricky to get zipped up all the way; I had a small hole in the back corner of the carrier and it was because the zipper was not zipped all the way shut. I had to play around with the folds of the corner canvas fabric to get the zipper fully zipped so the inside would not have any open hole. When I had it completely assembled, it was a little lopsided so it didn’t look straight but my dog was still able to use it and get inside. It has a detachable shoulder strap along with carrying handles and a luggage trolly sleeve that converts to a small pocket. I like that is has an open mesh top and open mesh sides so my dog can see out easily. It also has a little built in leash inside that can be clipped to a pet’s collar so they do not escape when it is unzipped. The description said that it has locking zippers but I didn’t see any built in locks on the zippers, they are just regular zippers. Overall it is okay for stability, it will work for smaller pets but I would have liked it if it seemed a little more structurally stable and not lopsided.
