HE FEELS THE BRUSH IS A LITTLE STIFF
We have a cat who dictates how things are done and inspects all things carefully. I introduced the brush to him, and he lay down and I brushed him for a minute or two, then he jumped up, looked at the brush and left the room.Okay, now I will speak in every-day language instead of expressing myself as a cat-person. The brush is well-made, and the idea of pushing the cat-hair up towards the end to clean the bristles is inspired. However, the bristles are a little stiff, though the covering of the ends of the bristles with plastic does prevent scratching and injury. This may be just the thing for tougher cats or the average dog, but since the brush is for my cat, his reaction is important.

I ordered this comb because my furry overlord can sometimes shed aggressively, and I was hoping this would help. My cat is a domestic shorthair, and after spending time carefully combining her coat, I realized that although the cat loved getting brushed, I wasn’t finding a lot of loose undercoat hair in the comb at all. The comb did not seem to do what it advertised. I suspect that this comb is more meant for cats with longer fur, but on my shorthair cat, this just doesn’t do the trick.
