Very sturdy tool.
This is great! Before I used it for the litter box I had a need for it when I was gardening. I was trying to remove the plentiful stones in my soil from a new seeding bed. It worked perfectly and greatly speeded up the process! I plan to order another one for this purpose. It also works very well in the litter box, particularly if you have cats, like mine, who excavate clear to the bottom of the box and thus creates clumps that are literally “welded” to the bottom of the box. It is very sturdy and does not bow and crack like my plastic one did. This should last a long time.

This metal cat scooper is embarrassingly something so simple that I never knew I was missing. I’ve had cats all my life. We always used the plastic litter scoops… you know- like the ones you get from the dollar store. That’s all there is to use, right? Wrong!Recently, we rescued a 4 week old kitten. While litter training him with his tiny little pan… I found myself wishing for a smaller scoop than the typical large plastic one we had on hand.I came across this one and double checked the measurements and it works great for his small litter box and his tiny little kitten potty’s. I use clumping litter, and most everything scoops with this scooper – meaning the sifting holes are an appropriate size.The thing I love most is how durable this is. My older, senior cat pees a lot! If I forget to scoop for one day- there can be a lot of clumps to clean from the bottom of her box. You know how when you’re scraping with the flimsy, plastic dollar tree scoop and it just won’t scrape the bottom, or it starts to bend & give with too much resistance?? Then the larger pee clumps all smoosh & break up and you can’t scoop it all properly and it mixes in with the clean litter & gets that stale pee smell. Then I find myself changing the litter sooner than I wanted to. Well behold this tiny metal scoop you never knew you needed! Scrapes those clumps of pee stuck on the bottom right up! And your clean(ish) litter left behind in the box lasts longer since you got the solid scoops out in one clean swipe.I appreciated this scoop for the kittens box so much that I ordered a second one for the older cats box. (They are in separate rooms with separate boxes). Makes a crappy job a little more bearable!

This scoop is HANDS DOWN the BEST litter scoop I’ve ever had! I had what I thought was a very good, very high quality plastic scoop & snapped it the other day. I stumbled across this & decided to try it, and I’m sooo glad I did! I will NEVER go back to plastic!
