Really great fountain
I’ve been using this cat fountain for about a week now and so far I’m really happy with it. While it does have a few quirks, I can highly recommend it based on how easy it is to use and how well it works in general.PROS:* The fountain is a nice compact size/shape, so it easily fits into my cat’s feeding area. On the same topic, the design is cute and modern.* All of the different fountain modes work and work well. The continuous one keeps water flowing constantly, at the expense of battery life. The motion sensor works well (though the sensor is actually a bit too strong, which I’ll explain more in the cons section). My favorite mode is the “timed interval” one, where the fountain activates at various times throughout the day. This is the mode that uses the least amount of battery, and the one that my cat is most receptive to.* The battery charges quickly via with USB-C, and with the two non-continuous modes it lasts for weeks without needing to be recharged. I absolutely LOVE the fact that the fountain is 100% battery-powered and doesn’t need to be plugged in when in use. This is actually probably my favorite feature, it’s just so much easier this way and it also feels safer too.* It’s easy to replace the filters and they can be reused (not forever).* The pieces are all really easy to clean, and they don’t stain easily or anything. Overall it’s just really easy to use the fountain in a “set it and forget it” kind of way.CONS:* The instructions that came with the fountain are weirdly confusing and extremely unhelpful. It took me a while to wrap my head around the drawn diagram which lays out the different pieces in the box. In real life and unlike the diagram, some of the different pieces were already attached/connected, while others weren’t. Honestly I don’t quite know how to explain this, but the point is that the instructions would be greatly improved with actual pictures of the different pieces rather than very simply-drawn shapes that don’t accurately resemble what they’re supposed to.* As I mentioned in the pros section, the motion sensor is actually a bit too strong. It catches my cat walking by 100% of the time which is great, but it also catches me walking by the fountain, the large dog walking by, the robot vacuum skidding around, etc. This all makes sense of course, but my issue is that it sometimes catches me from several feet away. For context, I have the fountain in a narrow hallway connected to our bedroom, but on more than one occasion it caught me moving around all the way in the bedroom. I realize that “it works too well” sounds like a silly complaint but it’s just kind of annoying and naturally leads to the battery draining faster than necessary. Maybe if the sensor was placed lower to the ground, or partially obscured in some way, it wouldn’t be quite as sensitive.* The fountain makes a kind of “chugging” sound each time it activates, as if it’s struggling to circulate water for a few seconds. It’s just an annoying little quirk that sometimes scares me because it sounds eerily similar to the sound my pets make when they start gagging right before vomiting. In addition, it sometimes scares my cat, though he got used to it pretty quickly.So overall while it’s not perfect, I’m extremely happy with this fountain. None of the cons are that big of a deal, though the paper instructions really need to be improved because they caused me to have a very poor first impression here. But with all of that being said, this is the first fountain I’ve gotten for my cat and he’s been very receptive to it so far, minus the chugging noises throwing him off sometimes. He’s been drinking more water than normal which is what really matters to me. And it’s a sleek, simple little machine that works well. So I can highly recommend this fountain, and I’d definitely rather have it than not.

One of the most satisfying products for my cat
OPOWO Wireless Cat Water Fountain is one of the most satisfying product I ever bought from Amazon. Before we got this item, we used a water bowl and because of the water staying still, we had to keep cleaning and filling in new water every other day. It wasn’t convenient for us. We were busy and many times ended up forgetting to clean the bowl. With standing still water, it could develop bacteria over time. To be honest, I was thinking to buy a cat water fountain since we adopted Iggly in April this year but could not find one matching our need. Our main criteria was a wireless version. We didn’t want any wire because our cat loved playing with it and it might flip over splashing water on the floor. Fortunately, we finally found this item.It has been almost a week since we used this wireless water fountain. We are so happy with it. The good thing about this item is the mobility. It allows us to move anywhere in our house. The design is beautiful and stylish. We really love it. The appearance can fit into any room and looks very modern. The manual claims the battery lasts 45 days. That is great. Indeed, the battery already held some charge when we unboxed it. We just turned it on right away. So far, we haven’t charged a battery at all.There are 3 operating water dispensing modes to use; with a sensor when a cat nearby, with a fixed 30-minutes duration, or with constant dispensing water. We set it to operate at a every 30-minutes dispensing mode. One thing to note is that if the cat is very new to the water fountain, it is better to remove the faucet at first. This faucet makes the water dispensing out farther. That is actually very nice for any cat familiar drinking water from a tap. That is the way it is. But for my cat, he was very new to this. When he saw water coming out from a faucet, he was curious and tried to put his nose on it. His nose got wet. He got sacred and ran away. So, once I noticed, I took the faucet out and he got no problem with it anymore. He enjoys drinking water like he used to be now. I feel like he almost gets used to it now. I will put the faucet back on when he is familiar with the fountain.So far, all and all, I really love this item. I can say this is one the most satisfying products I got for my cat. I recommend it for anyone looking for a cat wireless water fountain.

An UPGRADE!
Works well, was easy enough to assemble, and the filters are easy to handle and replace. I’m very satisfied with this product. We haven’t had it fit very long, but so far, so good. As long as it keeps working and charging properly, I will recommend it to others. The only con I’ve seen so far oss the light sensor is way too sensitive & the filter seems to run almost nonstop regardless of the sensor setting. So it needs to charge after 2 days for me. However, I don’t see this as a major problem.

Cat Loves It
My cat is a big fan of running water. He would drink out of the sink every day if I let him. I’ve had fountains that he’s loved and fountains that he’s completely ignored. So far, he seems to love this water fountain. One of the coolest features, in my opinion, is that the fountain is rechargeable! You do not need to keep it plugged in. This is especially helpful if you live in an area that is prone to power outages. I also like that you have the option to keep it running, run on a timer, or use the motion sensor to trigger the water to run. I will say, the fountain is by no means silent. In fact, it is fairly noisy. For that reason, I’ve opted to switch over to the sensor mode after establishing that my cat will drink from it and not be scared. So far it is working out nicely. I am happy to have a healthy and hydrated kitty!
