Recommended by our vet
Checkups Dental Dog Treats were recommended by our vet as they are one of the few chews accepted by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Our Lab is 8 and she has perfect teeth – no tartar or plaque, and she hasn’t required a professional cleaning. We give one chew about every 7 to 10 days. She knows the Checkups as her “special treat” and goes crazy if we ask whether she wants one. She’ll run to the closet where only these chews are kept and prance until we hand one over. I don’t know what I’ll do if they ever stop making these. Highly recommend.

My dog Prances and Woof’s each time we bring out the ‘Bones’
They keep his teeth clean, his breath smelling nice, but they are high in calories. We couldn’t understand why he was gaining weight (he’s 4 1/2). Nothing had changed, but his age. We discovered one bone a day is too many calories so we cut back to one bone a week (cut the bone in half and give it to him Sunday’s and Thursday’s).

Fabulous. Approved by 4 dogs ranging from 60 to 105 pounds
Been getting these for over 10 years and all 4 dogs have loved them. It is one of the highlights of their days to get them. We do call them crack/drugs as they seem to have an extraordinary addictive quality. They also seem to cause one’s dog to relax after in a way that no other treat does. Once you start your dog on them, make sure you always have them in stock 🙂

“Surprisingly Effective for Fresh Breath
I was honestly surprised by how much these dental bones improved my dog’s breath. Within a short time, the difference was noticeable, which makes me feel better about her overall oral health. She clearly loves the taste—no hesitation at all when I give them to her. We use them as part of a routine, one in the morning and one at night, and she looks forward to them every time. Our dog has several allergies, so we have to be careful with treats. These have been very gentle on her system—no stomach upset, which gives me peace of mind.Pros:Noticeably improves breathDog loves the flavorGentle on sensitive stomachs and allergy-friendlyEasy to make part of a daily routineCons:They don’t last long as a chew (more of a treat than a long-term distraction)Overall, these dental bones have become a regular part of our routine because they actually work and my dog enjoys them. I’ll definitely keep buying them.

So far, so good! Hoping to avoid having him sedated for dental cleaning!
Our dog is happy to have this treat every night! We had not been brushing his teeth and really didn’t want to ever have to have him sedated for a teeth cleaning, so wanted to try this. Vet said his teeth look good. Our dog is five years old and he is just finishing his first bag. I enrolled in a subscription for this item to get a cheaper price and so I’d never run out.

Both my dog and I love these dental treats!
My pup is 7 years old and I’ve been giving her these dental treats everyday for more than half of her life. Getting this treat in the evening is what she lives for everyday. My dog hasn’t needed a deep dental cleaning–they are in good shape with minimum plaque.

My dog loves these…has one every morning. He is six years old and he has the teeth of a puppy. I think this has a profound effect on a dog’s overall health.

my dog loves these, but the price is way over the top. Costco sells them for $16 CDN, when they have them in stock, which is not all the time. Will stock up next time I see them there, that’s for sure.

My dogs love this treat but the shipping charge was almost the cost of the treats themselves.
