I am absolutely obsessed with soft faux fur throw blankets, so when I saw this one I couldn’t resist. In the photos, it looks elegant, festive, thick, and incredibly cozy, like one of those ultra plush faux fur blankets you never want to take off. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing like that. Right away I could tell the material was completely different from what the listing shows. The top layer doesn’t feel soft or fur like at all. The best way I can describe it is almost like a woven straw hat or a burlap like texture made out of thread. It’s not itchy or uncomfortable, just really unexpected and honestly a little odd for a blanket. The 3D faux fur Christmas trees are cute, but the rest of the blanket doesn’t match the cozy vibe the listing portrays. The backing is a thin microfiber material, and the blanket itself is extremely lightweight. It’s soft enough, but definitely not the plush, cuddly blanket I was hoping for. The materials feel cheap, and while it works as a decorative throw, it’s not something you’d want to curl up in on the couch. I will say the beige color is true to the photos, a pretty cream beige, and the overall design is cute. But quality wise, it’s nowhere near what I expected. Even at $16.99 (as of 12/5/25), it’s just not worth it. I can get an actual fluffy faux fur throw for around the same price, the kind you wrap up in and never want to get out of. I really wanted to love this blanket, and I had high hopes based on the listing, but this just missed the mark for me. It’s more of a decorative piece than a functional cozy blanket.

Perfect cozy lightweight blanket
This Christmas throw blanket is absolutely beautiful and so soft! The 3D Xmas tree design adds a lovely festive touch. The beige color fits perfectly with my holiday décor. It’s the perfect size for the couch or the end of the bed. Big enough to snuggle under but not too bulky. Both sides are super fluffy and warm, and the faux fur feels luxurious without being heavy. The quality great not too heavy just right. Makes a perfect gift as well.

This “Heirloom Haven Christmas Throw Blanket, at $24.99, is a made of perhaps the lowest quality material possible. It’s design is quite poorly sewn, and the fabric overall feels itchy and scratchy. Although the photos convey softness and comfort, this material – lets not call it a blanket, since it will not be warming you or comforting you – is quite odd, since it frays and blisters into tiny fragments and shards, creating an almost dust-like substance inside the bag it came in. The color matches quite closely – I tried the Beige. I am returning this item and avoiding this seller/”brand” for evening selling something that is such low quality, and most especially, at such inflated, rip-off prices. Mind you, Costco routinely sells extremely soft, plush, well made blankets; my lost haul scored me 3 of them for $8 each. If this material were at least very warm and still scratchy, I would reconsider. But we don’t even have that. It is basically just an item you see for an open house to allude to the concept – the imagination of warmth and homieness – and then you get too close; gasp; you touch it even; and instantly the veil crashes to the ground. Do not waste your money or your time on this.
