This blanket stay cool all the time my dog didn’t like using his bed but the minute I put the blanket on his bed he use it all the time he’s a husky and he loves cold things so this blanket helps a lot. I recommend it.

Size, color, weight all meet description of product well. Doesn’t feel all that cooling so reduce by 1 star. Works well as a kennel blanket as it is easy to wash if puppy has an accident!

My two cats love it especially during the hot L.A. summer. The only thing is they like it so much they keep smuggling it under the couch. I like to keep it on the couch because it helps protect their most frequented spot and makes it easier to clean.

Thick plastic feel
I bought this to protect my bed from my elderly cats. It seems to be waterproof overall; it’s a thick plastic material, and I did notice some water pooling up when I hung it across my drying racks after the first wash. To be fair my cats haven’t fully “tested” it yet, but it seems like it should work well for waterproofing. The material feels cool and smooth on the top side. It is a one-sided blanket and the bottom side isn’t super grippy, but stays put overall so far. Unfortunately, the waterproof plastic is a bit too thick and loud for my comfort. One of my cats hates the blanket and won’t go on it at all. It won’t be breathable for hot weather if you plan to sleep underneath it. The top side fabric is also very slippery, so pillows and pet bedding slide off very easily (too easily). The queen size doesn’t cover my entire bed, but it does cover a good portion of it. Overall it seems to be a trade-off. Good waterproofing and cooling so far, but for me personally the thick uncomfortable plastic material is too much. Something lighter and more breathable would have reduced water resistance, so it depends on your needs.
