Finally some relief!
I take my 1 year old boxer to the office with me at a College Campus. I can’t tell you how many people NEVER ask to pet him and just reach out their hand to him without so much as asking me or even making eye contact with me. He is friendly, but is very particular about WHERE he is being petted, and really doesn’t appreciate being pet on his head or having his ears touched (he can be a twat sometimes). Several times, while I was either in a conversation with someone else or simply walking on campus, random people went straight in for his head and ears and he tried to nip them (not to do harm, but simply to communicate that he doesn’t want that). Because someone could misinterpret this as aggression, even though it was their fault for not asking, I became quickly frustrated. I started using this collar just for when we are on walks at work, and in addition to his normal collar that has his tags on it. This collar communicates clearly and from a distance not to pet him. Even “Ask To Pet” collars didn’t stop people from doing this, but this collar did. Finally! It sucks that I have to use this collar even though he is completely friendly when approached correctly, since it may be interpreted as he is not friendly, but that’s much better than having someone inappropriately approach him, having him react, and then having them report him to HR.

Great protection for my dog
I have a 5 year old coonhound mix rescue who has fear aggression for unfamiliar people. This collar is great for her safety and theirs. The color and letter size makes it easy to spot from a distance. she weighs over 50 lbs. and the fit has lots of growing room.

Don’t buy this if you have a dog with longer hair.
This collar is narrower than I would have thought and if you have a dog with longer hair you can’t really see the wording “do not pat”.

This is a nice product but it was too wide for my jackaranians kneck. It bothered him when he put his head down . I would recommend this though for larger dogs.

Love this collar!!
Bought this collar for my rescue who is very cute but not friendly. He has a lot of fur around his neck so the thickness of this was a nice touch. We’ve had this for awhile now and it was easy to clean and holds up well.
