no scratching, ear infections, or hair falling out!
I have both of my dogs on this after one of them started to get constant ear infections a few years back. His hair was also falling out in clumps and he was constantly scratching. I tried several different foods for him and they did well with insect protein, but my wallet suffered as it was costing me about $60 a month whereas this costs me about $25 a month because this larger bag lasts over 2 months for me. Thankfully, I found this and both of my dogs love it. It is often sold out locally so I am glad to see it available here on Amazon. FYI, this is the same exact formula mfrd by Diamond and also sold under the 4health brand at TSC. Just thought I would mention it in case Amazon has a hard time keeping it in stock at some point too. This requires no prescription and is MUCH less than prescription food anyway! My dogs wouldn’t eat the RX food which was a huge waste considering the vet visit too.My other dog has been a paw licker since I got him as a rescue several years ago. Nothing has changed that for him at all, not the insect food or this food, although it is not as severe as it was a few years ago. It is nothing that I would consider putting him on meds for at this point. My dogs are both small, under 15 lbs, and neither of them have an issue with the size of this kibble. One of the dogs is about 7 lbs if that matters. When opening the bag, I am not overwhelmed with the scent of fish either. The formula, price, size of the bag, S&S delivery is all great!

Cure for Food Allergies
This food cured my dog’s allergies! Cytopoint shots stopped working and I tried many things, but this food was the only thing that helped. My dog loves the food. All of his scabs and flaky, dry skin issues have gone away.

Stopped my dogs itching!
This is the only food besides the more expensive hills science diet that doesn’t make my dog itch.We tried 8 different types of dog foods and diamond sensitive skin is a life saver! Switching our dog to this helped completely stop his itching and it’s affordable!The only downside is we frequently have to change our orders between chewy, Amazon, petco, etc because they run out and it can sometimes be a month before it is back in stock.Our dog loves the food and we love that it helps him not itch!No stinky smell, it’s in small round pellets and funny enough when we order on petco, Amazon delivers the food!

It’s a bit spendy, but my dog had some skin issues caused by food, which I can’t pinpoint exactly. He’s finally stopped itching after trial and error. He looks beautiful again!

Well , I was going to but 5 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 but won’t let me . I do love this dog food.But it’s way too expensive for me and I cannot afford it. But its ok 👍 if you have a lot of allergy problems on dogs thalex this I definitely recommand trying out this dog food. It’s really good

Definitely a rancid bag of dog food.
I have bought this brand of dog food of chewy, twice now. They were out of stock when my auto-ship came, so I headed to Amazon to try and snag a bag since my old man has not only sensitive skin but a sensitive belly. He has been trying to refuse to eat the food since I got it. I have been making him, because well, it’s expensive and I thought maybe he is just “bored” of it already. No, now he is having physical reactions to the food such as bloat, really awful dog gas and the like. Will probably be throwing half the bag away to racoon family which really upsets me as the food was $60 for the bag. Oh well, lesson learned, I’ll never be buying off Amazon food wise again.

Peas ingredient linked to canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), i.e. heart disease
I am a little torn on how to judge this dog food due to the listing of Peas and Pea flour as the first 2 ingredients on the package despite the fact that my dog loves the flavor and it is apparently a good value too. However, my 13 year-old dog is an english cocker spaniel with a heart murmur and in light of the recent scientific research linking peas in dog food to DCM heart disease, I discontinued use of this product as a precaution and under the advice of my dog’s vet. My dog only started eating this dog food one week ago and his activity level seems to be slowing down somewhat but I cannot ascertain if this is due to the dog food.
