Gag gift gone right
I bought this as a total novelty, not expecting much and now I genuinely donāt want to go on dog walks without it. The Dirt Devil DogWalker is surprisingly effective for picking up fresh poop, especially for my friend’s small dog (around 15 lbs). Rechargeable and lightweight, so it’s easy to bring on daily walks. I clip it to the leash or toss it in the stroller cupholder.Itās definitely more convenient on dry days and for firmer poops. It wonāt work miracles on softer messes or long-forgotten piles, but thatās to be expected. You do have to buy the replacement waste cups

Excellent idea for Rabbit poop!
While this is an excellent concept, major improvements are needed. The suction is not too great-barely picks up a small dog turd. The refills are expensive-about a buck each. Itās too heavy to carry on a dog walk. And the bag inside the cup is way too small. Pass and wait for future generations of the product. šš©š¶

Works very well.
I was skeptical, but the product works very well! Seems to have a powerful motor, producing strong suction. Due to mobility issues, I canāt bend down to pick up dog poop, but I have no plans to let go of my fur babies, who have occasional accidents. I guess itās unreasonable for me to expect a dog to get their feet wet if itās raining! š This works great, provided it is well charged. My dogs are small, so the poop is also. As others have mentioned, it wouldnāt work for larger dogs as the cup is small, as is the opening for the poop to be sucked into.Very smartly designed!

Awesome idea, but very impractical.
This pet waste vacuum is an innovative idea. Given its release by the reputable Dirt Devil company, my expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, it did not perform as well as I had hoped. I understand it’s recommended for dogs under 50 pounds, and while my dog is slightly over that weight, I thought it might still be effective. During my initial attempts, comparing the collection cups to the size of the waste, I was doubtful of its success. Nevertheless, I proceeded. My 57-pound pit bull’s waste proved larger than I anticipated. After several tries, I concluded it was unsuitable for this task. I believe this vacuum is more appropriate for smaller dogs, perhaps 35 pounds or less.Furthermore, a 30-pack of replacement cups costs approximately $25, making each cup about 83 cents. My two dogs each eliminate three times daily, and a 30-pack lasts 10 days per dog. Therefore, the monthly cost would theoretically be $75 per dog, or $150 for both, totaling $1800 annually to manage their waste with this system. There are actually services available that clean up dog waste for less. While this vacuum system is interesting, it’s impractical unless cost is not a factor or there’s an extreme aversion to handling dog waste. Unless a more economical replacement cup option is available, this isn’t an efficient method for lawn cleanup. A scoop and a small lined trash can outside work best for us.

Not Worth The Hype
I had high expectations for this product…but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. The suction was terrible and didn’t pick up anything no matter how soft or hard it was. I would have returned it, but my husband took too long to try it out.

Great for small puppy messes!!!
We recently got 2 new puppies – yorkies and poop (sometime runny) was all over the yard and unfortunatly inside. This is the perfect thing for quickly and cleanly picking it up. It is the coolest tool and I keep telling and showing everyone how great it is.

Gets “the job” done
This is an awesome gadget that actually works as intended. I was skeptical but a recent move into a community necessitated that I clean up after my dog and it was a most hated of all tasks. I am old so bending over in itself is a challenge, then there is the scooping it up and bagging and…….YUCK. Put this cup over the dog’s deposit and it cleans it up so well there aren’t even brown marks in the snow!!! And I hardly have to bend at all. I have a medium small dog, not sure how this will work for larger animals but for my purposes it is a marvelous invention!!!
