Customers say
Customers find the salmon oil supplement to be of good quality and their dogs love the taste. The product helps with scratching resistance, with one customer noting their dog no longer licks and scratches obsessively. While some customers report reduced itching, others say it doesn’t help with their dogs’ itching. The functionality receives mixed reviews, with some saying it works fantastically while others report it didn’t work. Customers disagree on whether their dogs eat the supplement, and many find it has a bad smell and consider it not worth the price.

Great but dispenser is terrible
My dog is allergic to everything under the sun but we wanted to get something to spice up his food because he’s on a hydrolyzed protein diet and he he seems to be getting bored with the food and uninterested at breakfast and dinner time. Fortunately, he absolutely loves this; we’re talking bubbly-drooling at the mouth waiting for his food. We noticed that his skin looks less irritated and his scratching has decreased a little. It’s only been a couple days so hopefully this will be something we can keep adding to his food long-term so that he can get good ingredients in his system. We have him on apoquel as well, but we have seen positive changes since adding this to his food.I deducted a star because the dispensing mechanism SUCKS A**. We had to buy something else to be able to get it in his food.

Made dog sick
Made my dog sick. She stopped eating when this was on her food, and her itching never decreased before she quit eating it.EDIT: The company cares about its product and contacted me about my concerns. I updated my rating because while the product does not work for me, the company took the time to address my concern, and that is very nice in a time when so many companies don’t care about the customer after their product is sold.

Allergic reaction!
Made my dog itch and scratch in an outrageous manner. His only problem was dry skin. In addition at times he will refuse to eat if I use this product on his food. Not a good investment for me or the dogs.

Just reordered another bottle
This oil has done wonders for my dogs coat. Not only has it helped tremendously with her itching, it makes her coat super soft and sleek. My dog doesn’t itch like she used to and LOVES how it tastes. Just purchased my second bottle!!

This product may work for your pup but…
…our girl didn’t like it. Our girl is 100Ibs, Great Pyrenees/Akbash, 1 1/2 years old. She started to have skin issues about a month ago. It want as severe but we wanted to help her with the scratching and the skin issues on her tail. Our vet couldn’t find any issues, so we thought we give this a try. We tried another product before this, and our girl didn’t like it. With this, we started out with 3 pumps to try on her food, she liked it. Next day, I used 3 pumps and added beef broth (Brutus Bone Broth), she ate her food as usual. We increased the dosage each dinner time. But we’ve notice by the 3rd week she started to get some new rashes on her belly and her skin issues weren’t getting any better. In fact, it was getting worse. Scratching more than usual. We spoke with a few GP owners, that some dogs develop allergic reactions to chicken products as they get older. We’ve had chicken kibble and treats since she was a pup and she never had any issues up until a month ago. So we decided to throw this out, it wasn’t fully empty as it’s not worth giving something to our pup that is only going to make the situation worse. We bought Salmon oil without any additional products, decreased the chicken food and treats and replaced them with other meat products. So far, her scratching, head shaking, skin sores and rashes are not as bad. It’s only been 3 days. Nothing bad about this product that I didn’t like but the fact that my pup didn’t like it, I have to trust her. This product may work for your pup, but you never know until they try it and it works for them….not for you. The

It helped a bit with my dogs skin allergies but not a lot

Doesn’t really work. No difference in my dogs condition and it’s hard to get her to accept the taste. She’s not fooled by the turkey flavor but good ingredients
Doreen Urso –
I’m not sure it made any improvement. He still has all of the symptoms that accompanies having allergies. He’s still scratching and shacking his head.
