Works so well!
This little device is great. I keep it in my fanny pack for when I walk my dog. He isn’t super reactive to dogs or people, but every once in awhile we’ll come across a dog that just rubs him the wrong way and gets his attention. One little press of the button gets his attention back on me and back on track on our walk. It charges easily and a full charge lasts quite a while when you’re not using the device regularly. Great training device. It’s got the extra perk of looking a little bit like a taser or personal protection device so it provides some peace of mind for myself to carry it when I’m out on long walks by myself. Just the look of it might be enough to thwart a suspicious person.

Cyclists! Take this with you instead of pepper!
The worst part about riding gravel is the dogs. Not the mud; not the climbs. Too many dogs on rural properties that have no training to keep them from chasing cyclists. We don’t want to hurt them if we can avoid it, but if they’re too aggressive, few things keep a dog a bay like pepper spray. But this “sonic screamer” is one of them. I keep this in my cockpit feed bag for easy access, and can pull it out in a moment to make Fido stop coming after me on a ride. And when I’m out of range, the do is no worse for the wear.

Doesn’t stop neighbor dog from barking
I got this to quiet a yapping little dog next door to me. I tried all the different settings and I also tried the whistle that came with it but nothing seems to work. I would never try to hurt the animal but I need an effective way to stop the incessant yapping. This product is not it. Perhaps it would work better as a training tool and that it is not intended to stop a dog from barking just by sending high frequency sounds

The “Gepopet Dog Bark Deterrent Devices & Anti Barking Device for Dogs Indoor Outdoor Barking Control Devices” Works well. The neighbor’s dog, who always comes out and barks at me when I am working in the yard, does not like it. Both dogs ended up barking at me from the back porch instead of running up and down the fence. It was like they were trying to get as far away from me as possible. I only pushed it for a short time while they ran at me through the fence. It took about three tries before they stopped charging. They still barked, but I think it was more about convincing their owner to let them inside.I like that this has another button for use to train a dog to come to you. It also includes a dog whistle that can be adjusted for maximum effect. This is a good product for deterring a dog and training one to come to you.

Only works on 2 out of 3 dogs
This has helped train our two Australian Heelers to be off leash and stop bad behaviors. They still start or try to get into trouble, but just simply reaching for the deterrent device and both dogs stop immediately. The odd thing is, our third dog is absolutely not bothered by this device. She doesn’t react at all no matter what setting we have it on. The whistle that came with it has zero affect on any of the dogs.

It’s compact, light, and holds a charge for a long time. Works like a charm!
I am an avid road cyclist, and I ordered this not to train my pets but to deter potential attackers while I am riding in rural areas. I have tried this outside a couple of times and have had mixed results. The instructions state that it’s best range is within 15 feet, but I prefer that dogs don’t get that close to me. I may have to couple this with the use of mace for really pesky animals. But for what it is, it seems to work. I will update, hopefully not from a hospital bed, if I find out otherwise!

Well made, sturdy and does the job
This is the second product of this type I’ve owned, and this model feels sturdier in the hand and more well-made than the other one I own. The battery life is good, and the instructions are thorough. I feel much safer walking in my neighborhood which is notorious for loose dogs at any given moment (several of them pit bulls).
