Dog Car Seat
I got this Dog Car Seat for my 11 mo old Sheltie (25#). It is very well made and structurally strong, while still being plush and comfortable for him. It was easy to belt into the car and has plenty of room in it. I place him in it and clip his harness to the doggie safety belt and he is secure. The bottom cushion is very thick so he’s got a soft bed to sleep in, as well as being elevated enough to be able to see out of the windows when he’s awake. The side pockets are perfect for storing his leash when he’s riding so it’s at hand when I’m ready to take him out of the car. It was definitely worth the price.

Comfort & security while in the car!
We started using this ācar seatā as soon as we brought our little rescue puppy home, and I think that this awesome car bed is the reason that he LOVES riding in the car and has zero fear, anxiety or car sickness when traveling. We have taken him on a 5 hour road trip (one way) and he did awesome, as well as daily trips to the dog park or lake or other errands. The base pad is several inches thick and firm, yet squishy. It props him up high enough to look out the window so he can see whatās happening. I put down disposable puppy pads and then covered with a blanket, in case he ever had an accident while traveling, but he never did, so we donāt use puppy pads anymore.It fits securely in the car and could easily be configured for most bench seat situations. I would say that this is not an ideal bed for a captains style seat, but we havenāt tried it in the other vehicle, so I canāt say for sure, but Iām guessing it would be a but large and also less stable, as captains chairs are typically bucket type. We love it and our daughter bought one for her vehicle for when she takes him on play dates or for an overnight stay. I canāt recommend it highly enough. Our dog is currently 32 pounds and is probably full grown now, but I would say he could easily gain another 10 pounds and still fit comfortably in this bed.

Perfect for the car and the house!
My dog has plenty of beds but this car seat is his favorite to the point where we need to bring it in the house for him. Not only is it a great dog bed, but it’s an awesome addition to our car for him, and he feels so much safer and comfortable. He is about 50 pounds and looks so cute when he sits in it, too!

I have captains chairs for my middle row seats and these work great (I bought 2). My dogs love them. One is a Dalmatian 55 lbs, and one is a Dachsador 45 lbs. I wouldn’t go much bigger than about 60 lbs. They dont get dirty and easily clean up with a carwash vacuum. Material is great quality. Sides are sturdy enough for dogs to comfortably rest their heads without collapsing or folding. Foam is good quality, too. Only complaint is it’s tricky to attach the strap around the bottom, the top strap doesn’t sit flat on the back of the seat, and both of the side zippers broke. But the dogs are so comfy in these beds and ride comfortably for many hours when we go on long road trips. A few design tweaks and they’ll be perfect!

If your dog is standing in rides and is uncomfortable to sit or lay down in the car, me may need a car bed like mine did. Canvas seat covers helped contain some of the dog hair, but made him slip around more than feel like he had a secure seat.DOGāS COMFORT- Iāve been searching for a canvas cover to co over my seats so my dog has a designated spot to sit on car rides, but he always slips around on those, and because of that, heās nervous to sit and especially lay down. This was the BEST purchase because now he feels secure and comfortable, and has even dozed off on a ride. Big win! My dog is a 65lb boxer mix, and prefers to coil up to sleep instead of spread out, so this bed offers enough room for him to lay comfortably on rides with additional room.BEDāS FIT- this product is obviously meant for the backseat. I use it in the front for local commutes, and twist the bed, so the long side faces me. I do put a plastic crate the same height of the passenger seat in the foot space to extend the seat so he has a flat surface. I do like that additional flap can protect the back of the seat when itās up, but for my car, itās too short and the straps are too long to protect the whole seat. It hasnāt been an issue for me so far.CLEANING- I chose the black/tan version, and the tan hides the hair and dirt better than the black. The zipper makes washing easy, and so far the fabric can be wiped cleaned.QUALITY: So far, worth the price for me! Itās a soft fabric with durable foam inserts.DELIVERY: Comes well packaged, and with minimal packaging. Came shrink-wrapped and fluffed back up to its original size immediately after taking out of the package.

Great size and comfy
My dog was in this freely for a 16 hour car ride. He was comfy the entire time and only moved to reposition himself. It does come with a secure way to lock on your car seat as well as with a buckle to keep your dog in place. The memory foam hasnāt formed so it has held up extremely well.
