Pleasant smell but pets don’t seem to like it
This toothpaste has a pleasant smell, unlike a lot of the chicken/beef/fish flavored pet toothpastes out there. I went over the ingredients and none of them seemed overtly unsafe but just to be sure I would probably consult with your vet first to make sure everything is all good for your particular pet. The quality seems pretty good, the mixture is nice and even without much separation. As far as the effectiveness goes it seems to have helped with our cat’s breath after about a week of using it (3 times in 8 days) but I can’t tell much of a difference with gingivitis/tartar buildup yet. We’ve been wiping it on with a paper towel to help her get used to it but will switch to a brush once she lets us spend a little longer in her mouth. The only downside is that she doesn’t seem to like the taste! She doesn’t go for it like she does some of the toothpastes that smell a little worse (more like meat). Hopefully she gets used to it soon!

Works great in dogs
The paste smells great, vanilla flavor, and although it claims to be an enzymatic it does not mention it on the toothpaste itself. The whiting feature I need more time to submit results, the foaming and clearness is good. Is effective in fresh breath at least for a while.

My girl wasn’t having it
My dog, who doesn’t mind me brushing her teeth wanted nothing to do with this tooth paste. She even spit it back out. 🐕

Dog approved toothpaste
I’m surprised this is for both cats and dogs but my dogs don’t seem to mind this toothpaste taste at all and let me get in there and brush their teeth. They’re only 7 months so I want to make sure they have healthy teeth. It definitely helped with their breath and it seems to get their teeth clean. They do try to just like it off the brush some times but other than that this toothpaste makes it relatively easy to get their teeth nice and clean!

Good for bad dog breath.
I was expecting this toothpaste to smell like beef or something so my dog would actually want to eat it. It has a really sweet smell to it. I had to hold my dog down and force her to brush her teeth. She hates it. If a dog is used to having their teeth brushed this would be a great tooth paste. It did improve her breath a lot.

At $13.99 for 100ml, Pugalo’s Dog & Cat Enzymatic Toothpaste promises fresher breath and reduced plaque with a gentle vanilla flavor…but my pup gave it the cold snout. The texture is smooth, the scent is pleasant (think marshmallow, not meat), and it’s safe for daily use with no harsh ingredients. But flavor is everything in pet dental care, and if your furry critic isn’t licking their chops, it’s a nonstarter. Two stars for quality and intention, but sadly, this tube’s staying capped.

Smells good but my dogs don’t like it
The toothpaste smells good (kind of marshmallowy). It has a nice consistency and will work well if your dog tolerates brushing.I offered this to 2 of my dogs and neither of them liked it. I’m not sure if they don’t like the sweetness or if it actually tastes bad. I’m not saying no dog will like this, just not my dogs.So I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the toothpaste.The price is average and comparable to similar products. So if you’re looking for a toothpaste to try this one would be fine.
