Sturdy grooming arm that makes at home grooming easier
The grooming arm is pretty sturdy and I really like that it folds outward and away when I’m not using it or when I’m setting things up. It makes the whole setup feel a lot less bulky. The harnesses that come with the set are also sturdy and have soft padding in the middle where the dog’s chest rests, so they feel comfortable for my dogs.The clamp on the grooming arm feels strong and secure, but it can be a bit harsh on delicate surfaces. You definitely need your own sturdy table to clamp it onto. Once it’s attached though, it holds well and keeps everything steady.Since I groom both of my small dogs at home, this set has been really helpful for keeping them still during trimming and brushing. It’s a little hard to adjust the harnesses to the correct height especially with small dogs, but it still works. Overall, it’s a solid, useful grooming arm set that makes at home grooming easier and more manageable.

My cat did NOT approve!
Ok, I got this not with a small dog in mind, but rather a large cat. I know, I know.She’s a 2 year old Maine Coon/Ragdoll cross. She’s got the longest fur I’ve ever encountered on a cat and it frequently mats even with regular grooming and brushing. Cutting the mats out when needed has always been a two person project. Not because she gets mean or scratches, because she just won’t stay still. She wants to see what’s happening. She’s young and wiggly. Who can blame her? I thought I’d give this a try to see if with a little assist from this device our usually docile kitty might let me nip out those mats without a 2nd handler. It made sense in the moment. Maybe I hadn’t gotten enough sleep. I mean, she lets me walk her on a leash in a harness. What could go wrong, right?Here’s my experience:First, the product. It’s very well made, I think, and is very easy to use. It attached to my table easily. I have no complaints about the product whatsoever, and will probably end up giving it to my parents evenutally for their small dog, whom I’m sure will absolutely love it. I think the product is a good value and likely works well for its intended use. That said, that’s not what I did, and that’s not the product’s fault.Here’s my cat’s experience:*Look of utter confusion in her eyes, approaching the table arm with caution.* “Is this a new toy? Hmm, let’s try batting at this thing. Hey, what am I supposed to do with this? Oh, good, you’re going to help me! Wait, what? Why are you trying to put that thing around me? What the heck, are you mad, man? Unhand me! You want to put it WHERE? Hands off my haunches, sir! Ok, that’s it, let me show you just how flexible I am!” *Cat twists and turns, assuming positions contortionists would cringe in fear at, while spinning in circles as I feebly attempt to untangle her from the mess of cordage she has wrapped around herself in a mere instant.* “FREEDOM!” *she cries, leaping off the table and tearing out of the room like a comet, running two laps around the house before coming to a stop right next to me, sauntering by me slowly.* “Want to try that again, good sir?” *her expression smug as she meets my eyes.*”Nope, I’m good.”It’s a great product, but if you are considering it’s use for even a normally docile cat, I might reconsider.

Game changer!!
This thing is so helpful!! Why I’d never thought to look for one sooner is beyond me. The weekend prior to getting this my 14 year old dog jumped off for the first time ever and it scared the crap out of us. Fortunately he’s okay! I’ve since used it for my other pup. Both want to sit down when getting a back end floof trimming. This worked excellent in keeping them standing. Absolutely love it and highly, highly recommend to make home grooming easier. Be sure to get the appropriate size for your dog. These have extension room but very little. Perfect for my mixed breeds who are both 20lbs or less and are similar in size to a shitzu.

Great Groom Arm and Clamp!!
This foldable dog grooming arm with clamp is exactly what I needed to groom my dog! We recently adopted a sweet little chihuahua mix and I groomed her for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She did pretty good but did the typical moving and sitting and not letting me get her nails. I saw this and knew I had to give it a try. It was super easy to set up and clamp to my table. I like that it has two different restraints so you can use what works best for you and your dog. My girl took to it easily and I was able to finally get her nails trimmed. This is a great value and a must have if you groom your dogs yourself!!

Sturdy grooming arm, works fairly well
This is the a nice solution for at home grooming, as long as your dog is cooperative. It attaches easily to a table, and it’s sturdy and secure.It worked fairly well for clipping my 10 lb. pups hair. Although, I wish the cables were adjustable up and down. They do adjust with the arm, but I needed the head to be a little higher for my dog.It didn’t work for trimming nails, as she could still move around quite a bit. She hates having her nails trimmed by the groomers and by me, which is the main reason I ordered this grooming arm. I was hoping it would hold her still, but she pulls her feet away, and I don’t want to take the chance of cutting them too short. I ended up having to make an appt. with her groomer, to do her nails.I would recommend this product if you have a toy, or a small dog that will let you groom them. Just a heads up, this dog grooming arm is for dogs under 15 lbs.It will work with any table or countertop that’s 2 inches or less.I like how it folds in half for storage, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s also a good value, at $19.99.
