So this, this is an absolute godsend. I have a little 9 lb yorkie/shihtzu mix and I have never been able to cut his nails easily. Spend over 2 hours brushing, bathing, and giving him a haircut, fine, he’s happy as a clam. But he acted like I was torturing him every time I went anywhere near his nails. No amount of treats or praise made a difference. Worse, he’d try and bite at anyone else who tried. I ended up having to cut one or two, then stop for the day, and cut one or two the next day, and repeat. He’d wiggle and fight the whole time. I even tried one of those rotary files, and while more successful than clipper cutting, he still wouldn’t tolerate it for long enough to do all his nails. And it took forever to do one paw. At 15 years old his fighting me was making his little legs and hips so sore. It was heartbreaking.Enter this sling. It fits him perfectly, snug, and doesn’t cut into his windpipe or legs. The padding around the neck is a thoughtful touch and the velcro belly strap gives me peace of mind that even my wiggly worm isn’t going to be able to fight his way out of it. The carabiners and hooks are sturdy and the stitching on the straps is secure. It is very well made and thought out.Now for the miracle: I strapped my little guy into the harness, strung him up, and he just went still. No struggling. No heavy panicked breathing. Just still. The process took me less than 3 minutes to cut ALL of his nails, including the tricksy and tender dew claws. And he never wiggled or fought once. No sore hips or legs afterwards, just simple easy perfection and lots of treats and love as a reward. I am so relieved I feel like crying.I didn’t use the included file or clippers, so I can’t speak about them, but this sling? It is the best single grooming purchase I have made in 15 years. I just wish I had one so much sooner.

Life saver!
This works great for my 25 lb Boston Terrier. I attached it to a cheap stand alone clothes hanging bar that can be lowered to hold him only inches from the floor. He stays still & lets me cut his nails.

Perfect solution to trim dogs nails
This harness is a game changer for trimming our dogs nails! We were sometimes able to trim a nail or two here and there,but it was a struggle. After reading other people’s reviews,we decided to give this a try. SO glad we did!!! Our dog just “hangs out” quietly in it while we trim all his toenails. No fighting it whatsoever. Just a little wiggly the first time, but not the next. We hang it from a length of pvc pipe with two closet rod brackets mounted between the bedroom door frame. Works great! Item is well made and sturdy. For reference we have a 24 pound Boston Terrier,and purchased the medium. Fits just right. If you struggle with nail trims,please don’t hesitate to buy. It’s awesome!

Works well
Sizing was accurate. Appears well made. I have a 13 lb Chihuahua. She didn’t hang like a dead weight, but wasn’t able to squirm enough to prevent me from clipping her claws. She has a long neck, and was still able to get her head in the way. The hammock made it possible to get her claws clipped, so we are keeping it.

Exceeded my expectations
The quality of this grooming sling is exceptional. The material is a strong breathable mesh and the straps are sewn on with heavy reinforcement stitching. The velcro pads at the point of closure make it easy to get on your dog and situated properly. The strap in the middle is very wide with velcro closures which helps secure and stabilize your dog and the sling. All I wanted was a good quality sling, so the file and the nail clipper are nice, but I will probably never use them as I use a Dremel Pet Grinder on my dogs nails. After looking at many grooming slings, this one far surpassed the features that I was looking for.I am of the opinion that the easiest way to hang this grooming sling is from a wooden interior beam or rafter / joist with two wood eye screws and a length of chain. Inexpensive, and easy to accomplish.UPDATE: We have now had the chance to use this sling for the first time to grind the nails of our 60 lb. Australian Cattle Dog / Keeshond Sadie and it was a phenomenal experience! It was easy for Sadie to step into the sling and the Velcro pads and the wide Velcro center strap made it a breeze to comfortably secure her prior to lifting her up.Suspending her from this sling, Sadie was comfortable, secure and stress free for the first time while grinding her nails. I believe an added feature is the fact that your dog can’t see what you are doing while in the sling.I am thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.2925 UPDATE: adding a Gambrel and Pulley Hoist to use with the grooming sling makes it a lot easier to suspend Sadie to do her nails! Product Concept Has 1 Flaw with both ends of the hammock being open
I purchased the Kkiimatt Size XXSmall Dog & Cat Grooming Hammock/Harness for Dogs & Cats for Trimming at Home,Cat Sling Restraint for Grooming with Thick Fabric Neck Support, Grooming Strap Hanger Holder for Claw Care. My almost 4 month old tabby kitten has extremely sharp claws and I knew I needed to trim them before she scratched up all my furniture. Well, she fought, scratched and bit me just getting her into the harness, even before I was able to strap her into the hammock (as shown). Each time I attempted to put it together on the hangers, my tabby turned into Houdini and squirmed and wiggled out from either the front or pushed herself out the back of the hammock. I think it has 1 design flaw. I think the back should not be open but rather closed with just a hole to allow you to have their tail out and not have the ability to squirm their way out of it. It did look like a better alternative to having to struggle with your cat to trim their nails.TBH I think if I had another person doing this the extra hands would have certainly helped.The concept is good the fabric is durable, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my kitty
