Works well for removing dog hair directly from the dog and for clipping.
The brush and furniture attachments work really well for removing hair directly from a shedding dog. It does not suck the hair directly off, but it does remove all the loose hair removed with the brush attachment and that is taken off with the clippers. A mix of brushing and running my fingers over my bloodhounds coat resulted in removing a lot of hair without the hair getting all over everything. Normally I have to brush him outside, and then I end up with dog hair tumbleweeds all over the yard. This allows me to do it indoors without worry.I am not sure how well this would work for a large, long haired dog that sheds. I had a Newfoundland several years ago that would fill this canister up about 50 times in one session, but anything smaller than a 10 gallon shop vac would fill up super fast with him, so I mention it mostly to say that this vacuum, an pretty much no other dog vacuum, is designed for dogs that produce trash bags full of hair. The size of this is larger than I expected, though certainly not bulky, and it provides good suction without having so much that it spooks the dog. I tried it on my bloodhound and my pug, and, while neither of them were happy, the suction and noise were low enough that I was able to keep them in place with the occasional treat. For a first time use that is a great sign, and I can easily make the assumption that they will get used to it after a few sessions.Emptying the canister often is very important, since dog hair makes a thick, compressed layer at the back, reducing the suction fairly quickly if there is a lot of hair to remove. This was more pronounced with my bloodhound and pug than when clipping my small mixed breed dog with fluffy hair, since the shorter, fine hair created a much more dense mat at the back. The clippers work well. They are not as powerful as an expensive Wahl and Andis cliippers that I own, but those clippers cost at least twice as much by themselves as this whole unit. They worked better than I expected them to at this price, working as well as $30 and $40 kits that I have bought in the past at pet stores. Keeping the blade lubricated is essential, and should be done several times each clipping session to prevent overheating. The kit comes with a small container of oil, but it will probably only last 3 or 4 sessions if you keep your clippers lubricated well enough. This is true for all clippers, but the ones that you are going to spend under $200 on especially. The price of this set seems fair given the number of accessories that are included and how well it works. As long as you are not using it for big trimming jobs primarily, this should really work well for controlling pet hair. I am allergic to dogs, but I love dogs and have always owned them. For me, this is a great value, since I did not even sneeze once when removing hair because all of the hair and dander ended up in the vacuum instead of in the air and on surfaces.Overall, this is a good buy and works well. I would highly recommend it for people with dogs that shed quite a bit, and for people looking for a convenient clipping system that controls hair without breaking the bank.

No More Fur Tumbleweeds! Professional, Mess-Free Grooming at Home
This dog grooming vacuum kit is great for managing my pet’s shedding and trimming needs. The powerful vacuum suction is truly the star feature, capturing nearly 100% of the hair before it even hits the floor. The kit comes with an excellent range of accessories, including a dematting brush and a useful crevice tool for general home cleanup. The electric dog hair clipper attachment made trimming my golden retriever’s paws and body look professional and feel simple. Crucially, the unit operates at a surprisingly low noise level, which kept my dog calm throughout the entire grooming session. The large 1.5L dust cup holds a substantial amount of fur, meaning I don’t have to constantly stop and empty it. Cleanup is ridiculously easy, you just detach the cup and toss the compressed fur, leaving zero mess behind. This kit saves me significant money on professional grooming and keeps my house cleanerāa total win-win for any pet owner.

Great grooming tool!
I have a small dog that has long wirey fur on the top half of his body. It abruptly becomes short on his back half. He looks weird so I wanted to get a grooming tool for him since he doesn’t like going to groomers. I also have a yellow lab and 2 cats. I decided to get this because it would work for all of my pets and hopefully get the shedding down a bit. I tried the deshedding tool on my lab and it worked so well, it’s whisper quiet on the lowest level and quiet enough you can barely hear it on the second. I doubt I’ll be able to get my animals to let me use the highest suction level as that is loud enough to startle them but still not as loud as a household vacuum. The clippers I used on my little dog. They worked great and he tolerated it for a little bit before trying to flee. I was able to even put the longest bits in the front half of him so he’s mostly even on his front half but he’s still not even to his back half so I will have to try again. He does look so much better though! And the clippers worked great! The fur removal tool and crevise tool haven’t been used yet as I didn’t have the time but those are mostly based on suction for performance so I’m betting they work great too. I’m overall very pleased with this product!

Works as advertised. Trims evenly and cleanup is a breeze.
This review is for the “Dog Grooming Vacuum Kit, Pet Grooming Vacuum with Electric Dog Hair Clipper, Grooming Brush, Cleaning and Crevice Tool with 1.5L Dust Cup 5 Grooming Tools for Shedding Pet Hair, Home Cleaning” that I ordered via the Vine program. With four goldendoodles in the house, keeping up with all that fluffy hair is a never-ending project. I bought this grooming vacuum hoping it would make life a little easier, and it really has. I can brush the dogs right in the living room now without ending up in a cloud of flying fur.The brush attachment works great for getting out loose hair, and the suction pulls it straight into the container instead of letting it drift around. The first time I used it, a couple of the dogs were a bit unsure, but after a few treats and some patience they relaxed. Now they just stand there while I brush them. The vacuum sound is gentle enough that it doesnāt bother them once theyāre used to it.The clippers do a nice job too. Theyāre not professional-grade, but they cut evenly and donāt clog with hair. I like that everything gets pulled into the vacuum while trimming, so I donāt have to sweep afterward. The different clip lengths make it easy to do touch-ups between full grooming sessions.Cleaning is simple and the canister holds a good amount before it needs to be emptied. I also tried one of the smaller attachments on the couch and it actually picked up the fine doodle hair that my regular vacuum tends to miss.If you have multiple dogs that shed or need regular grooming, this setup is worth it. It’s not overly pricey and it does take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, youāll spend less time cleaning up and more time enjoying your pups.
