Stays on well
Stays on well. My dog is about 85 lbs. and he seems to be walking and slightly running with this brace on. He knows it’s on, and he is more aware of his limitation.

Don’t feel it’s effective.
I’m not sure how this is suppose to help the knee. This is for the hock.

Who Knew?
My 13 y/o Bichon/Shih Tzu has been having trouble with her back right leg for a while now. It’s the same leg on which she tore her ACL when she was about 5. I never knew leg braces were made for dogs until I came across this by accident. (🤦🏻♀️). I thought it would be a great idea for her, because sometimes she limps, or favors that leg. She can still run in the field, but I I see her favoring it and feel badly for her. She gets 2 joint supplements that help her other legs and joints, but some days I can see this leg really bothers her. I measured her leg carefully and ordered the small. This is really a quality brace. It came with 2 sets of rods to use – 1 is a set of flexible spring bars, and the other set is rigid steel bars, as shown in the Seller photographs. These are inserted into the fabric of the brace easily. She did NOT like wearing it at first, lol, so I put the wrap on her first with no metal bars In it. I did this a few times a day for 5-10 minutes at a time. Then graduated to having her wear it on our walks in the field. After a few times with no bars, I put in the more flexible spring bars. I think these give her enough support for now, and I can switch to the rigid ones if need be. With this support on our walks, her leg doesn’t seem to give her as much trouble for the rest of the day. The fabric of the brace is breathable anwashable, which is nice, since she likes to get dirty outdoors, lol. Honestly, some braces for humans aren’t made this well. I’m so glad I gave this a try. 5/5 Stars.

A good leg wrap
We were looking for a leg wrap for our little dog who sometimes has leg issues. Usually from playing too hard. Twice we’ve taken her to the vet, had X-rays, etc. and they didn’t find anything. So, we decided to try this wrap along with some doggy ibuprofen. Bingo! It works. Her sprains (or whatever) don’t last very long — a day or two. So I put this wrap on and limited her activity. I didn’t put in either set of braces. The wrap was enough. She’s back to normal and playing with her sissy.I like that the wrap has velcro and is adjustable. I also like that they give you options with the braces/splints. If we need them, they’e available. I would recommend you check in with the vet if you have leg issues, but this might be a good interim solution until you can get an appointment. Or if your doggo is like ours, you’re prepared for minor ailments. It’s the equivalent of a human ankle wrap for your first aid kit!

Modeled by Minnie
I was hoping to use this for Daisy, but I didn’t measure her leg first which is totally my fault. Minnie’s legs are much thinner than Daisy’s. It appears to be something that will work well once the right size is obtained. Minnie didn’t try walking with the brace on, so all I can report on is the size for the small dogs is good.
