Customers say

Customers find the dog brace to be of good quality and effective at stabilizing back legs, with positive feedback about its functionality and mobility benefits. The fit receives mixed reviews, with some finding it good while others say it’s too large for their dogs’ legs. Moreover, the brace is easy to put on but tends to slip down after running, and customers report issues with the Velcro straps not staying in place.

Great product but you MUST follow directions.
This is an excellent dog brace, while our pet recovers from an ACL sprain. Yes, Velcro is always stickiest when you first use it but it does loosen up and become easier overtime. It also helps tremendously if you roll back the straps all the way before putting on the brace and you won’t have an issue with straps you aren’t fastening sticking to each other. The first step is to measure carefully and select the right brace based on the measurements not the size of your dog as dogs have very different types of leg and body lengths. Then apply it with the hawk joint centered between the middle straps as shown, and allow your dog to get used to it. If you are diligent about this part, you’ll be happy with the results because the brace does work very well.

    works
So far, these have really made my dog happy. She has arthritis, kidney problems, and is just getting old so while we give her joint chews as recommended by our vet, she still has gotten to where she doesn’t like to stand for long eating or walking around outside which she used to like. These braces really seem to help her feel better when walking/standing and she seems to really like them. We don’t keep them on all the time, just a couple hours on., take off for resting, then put them back on to go outside or eat. The first time we put them on, she walked around like a person trying something out and she decided she really likes them. She gets excited when I pick them up and she’s normally a very laid back, calm dog but she’ll get another “gear” when going outside with these on and it seems like she doesn’t have as many problems walking around and being active. The velcro seems to almost do too good of a job of sticking but if that’s all, then we can deal with that easily. Once they wear out, we will probably get another set.

Really helps the leg but almost impossible to apply
These hock wraps are extremely difficult to put on. I have a Lab so lots of leg to cover. Hard to keep in place while wrapping the velcro. Velcro straps are too long and while wrapping around the leg the whole wrap slips down and you have to start over. A better design would be to have the hock opening on the solid part so you could place it over the bone then fasten. The wrap works wonders once in place. 5 stars on that. But unless you are familiar with velcro wraps this will be difficult if not impossible to apply.

Seems to help… great customer service from the seller!
My aging Labrador thought she was a pup again and was tearing all over our property after a fox. She was missing for a while and finally came back holding one of her rear legs and could not put weight on it. I took her to our Vet who diagnosed a severe sprain. We have had to keep her quiet while she heals, but she does need to get up and around, so I thought I would try these braces to see if they helped. On my first order, I didn’t realize I ordered the short size, so I contacted the seller who was super responsive and gave me an instant refund. I reordered the long version and they seem to be helping her get around. You do need to measure as they suggest, otherwise you may not get a good fit. Great customer service from these folks!

    Very little support
My dog saw two different veterinarians during the tine she wore these and both vets told me they weren’t going anything for her. One vet added ‘just throw them in the trash’. In fairness to the manufacturer, her rear legs are pretty weak.

So happy I purchased this for my Great Dane
These have been a life saver for my Great Dane who has osteosarcoma cancer in one of his hind legs. I used this with a bootie and velcro strap conmection to each and keeps his paw from “knuckling” and now my boy can walk pretty much like normal.
