Great size for golden retriever
It’s still too cold to swim, but I tried out this dog pool float in our kitchen (we didn’t turn the kitchen into a pool) and it seems really well made. I can’t say yet how well it floats, but it feels like it would hold a person, and definitely a dog.It inflates quickly with a powered pump, but even our little hand pump works pretty quickly for as big as this is.The material feels thick and sturdy, and I don’t expect it to puncture easily. It’s not slippery, which helps our one year old golden retriever feel secure. The size is perfect for her, and I’m looking forward to having her in the big pool this summer. For $50 with a $10 off coupon, it feels like a good price. I’ll update this should we have any issues once it warms up and we can test it for real.

Great Quality and Adorable Design Can’t Wait for Summer
Since it’s winter right now, I haven’t been able to test this in the pool yet, but I wanted to share my first impressions. The quality feels really good. The fabric is sturdy and not thin or flimsy, and the stitching looks well done. It feels like it will hold up nicely in the water.I absolutely love the shark design. The little sharks and stars are so cute and the blue color really stands out. It looks fun but still nicely made, not cheap looking at all.The size is generous. My dog is a chihuahua and this will be perfect for her on hot pool days. It is big enough that she could even share it with her chihuahua friend for a little summer play date. At the same time, I can see this fitting a much larger dog comfortably as well. There is plenty of space for a medium or large breed to lounge without feeling cramped.It did not come with an air pump, just something to note. That wasn’t a big deal for me because I already have one at home, but you will need a pump to inflate it.Overall, I am very happy with it and can’t wait to use it once the weather warms up. Based on the build and design alone, I would highly recommend it for anyone planning fun pool days with their pups.
