A bit small for dog poop, but a nice little trash can
I got this mainly to use it for snake pee and poop, as it’s a bit small for use with dog poop. Unless you have a really small dog, and really small pooper-scoopers…I like that it comes with the extra bags that fit it, but it’d be nice if it came with two or three rolls of bags (I’m just too lazy to go out and find the exact right size bags for something like this).The filters are awesome, and I’m so glad they’ve provided them. I’m not sure if they can be washed and reused, but I really hope so (for reasons of the aforementioned laziness). I keep my snake enclosures in my bedroom, so being able to spot-clean their poop and urates and throw them into a trash can with a lid *and* scent filter is pretty ideal.The can itself is kind of small for dog poop, as I mentioned, but it’s the perfect size for a bathroom trash can (or for snake poop).The metal shell seems nice and sturdy, and when you let the lid drop, it doesn’t just slam shut, it kind of slowly lowers, which I like.Overall, I think this is a pretty decent little trash can, and the scent filters are a great touch.

It does not prevent odor, it is very small.No, I would not recommend unless you have an extra tiny dog. My dog is 7lbs and this canister had to be emptied a couple times a week.
