Great material but the meansurement of the dogs belly plays a role.
A little disappointed in that I have a short, very thick dog by breed. These belts are made for thin dogs in mind. The quality is great, wonderful material and craftmanship, but the length of the belt is too short for a very thick, short dog. It fits the leg quite nicely but I need at least 5 more inches to wrap the belt around more than once to keep it secure. The dog is 75 lbs and I bought size large based on the girth of her leg. Shes 25 inches around.the belly. The.measurement directions should have included measuring around the belly by the leg. The large can not wrap twice around a 25 inch round dog. There is no length for the belt listed at all. It doesn’t list if the xl is longer so I may experience the same thing with the XL. 5 more inches of belt would have been the perfect product for sure. I’m debating what to do based on how the day goes. I do recommend this product for a thinner dog. I’m impressed by the quality. A dog can chew through this so you definitely have to watch the dog which is just common sense. You wouldnt leave a dog alone when wearing a cone either. It’s thick cloth. Very similarly made like a knee brace for human knees.

Life changing
We have struggled for years with our obsessive, licky dog. Vet tape, cones, inflatable tubes, socks!!, and nothing has worked. This leg sleeve is actually the perfect solution. It’s pretty easy to put on and take off, but the only downside is that for male dogs it’s a no go when they go to the bathroom. We thought we had allowed for clearance but after he peed he turned around and it looked like he peed his pants. So it comes off anytime he goes outside but other than that it’s great. I feel like the Velcro could be a little stronger around the waist but it actually has been ok.

Worked perfect for ACL recovery for our large dog!
My dog had his second leg ACL repaired. The first time, we were sent home with a sleeve-but didn’t get one this time. I searched for awhile to find a sleeve like the one we had the first time-but needed fast shipping due to not wanting to put a cone on him. This shipped overnight thankfully, so we just had one night of the cone.It was easy to put on, the fit was perfect-and worked as we needed until he got his staples out. If you are looking for a sleeve-this one is perfect. I highly recommend it. Our dog is a newf mix, weighs 105 lbs.A+ sleeve

Better than a cone
We are satisfied with this is all regards except our dog is male and he can’t use the bathroom in it so we have to take it on and off when he goes outside. Otherwise great.

The best TPLO post op purchase!
Just had our dogs 2nd TPLO surgery and this is by far the best sleeve we’ve found. She hates any and all cones, and pajamas were just not working out (they wouldn’t stay in place and it’s July in NC so really too hot for them anyways). But this sleeve covers the full knee area and has enough Velcro straps to keep it in place. Others we’ve used wouldn’t stay in place especially overnight but this one didn’t budge at all.We got the medium for our 45 lb pit mix!
