Great Product
My little girl going in for spay surgery. I checked many reviews and find that this recovery suit is good quality, easy to put on, easy to open for trips outside , strong Velcro to prevent the dog from opening the closures and, using the sizing chart correctly, you will get a perfect fit. Best of all the price allowed me to get two for the price of what others were for one.

Surgical sock
Perfect for what it is meant for. I ordered XL for my 56 pound lab. It was too big, but I was able to put it on her anyway. It did keep her stitches clean and safe. Her incision heal up nicely with no infection thanks to this surgical sock. It is lightweight, thin, comfortable, washable. The Velcro holds tight.

Affordable, quality product
This is a very nice recovery suit made of a comfortable, lightweight fabric. The Velcro closures are snug, and work well. The only negative about it is that the rear opening is not large enough to allow a female dog to urinate without first undoing the back closure. Otherwise, itās a great suit for keeping abdominal incisions secure and clean.

Okay for the price
It’s for a female spay:As one reviewer video-noted, that “cut here for boy dogs” patch is very rough, almost like it’s a 30year old seam tape, and it is right where the incision is expected to be. Instead of trying to remove it, I’ll be ironing something softer over it. Add that to the cost.The 2xl fits my super-broad-chested 11year old 55lb pit lab boxer mix on her upper body. I might cut the neck a little to give her some relief if it starts “strangling” like most clothes do on her big neck. However, the 2xl, even though I measured twice and I followed the guidelines, is like 4-8inches too long, so long that the Velcro needs to attach up by her mid-back. I will have to add a button or snap or more Velcro to this item and sew it in place so the little wraparound pieces have something higher up her back to connect to. Add that to the cost.Tshirt material is soft and thin, seems like a hospital gown material that I’d be glad to have if it were me, not that rough starchy cotton.Overall, good price, especially if you already have Velcro and iron-on patches and extra time on your hands.This one is less difficult to get on her than the snap up the back kind, coverage of her abdomen and caboose is better in this model than the 4 leg-holed ones with the snaps or zipper up the back – can’t really make any adjustments to have better coverage on that kind.

Great for recovery from surgery
I picked up my large great dane/german shepherd mix from the vet after her lapro spay & gastropexy. She, of course had a HUGE plastic victorian collar around her neck. I could hear her banging into things before she entered the room I was in. She couldn’t even fit in the back seat without getting it wedged in the ceiling of the car. I couldn’t keep that on my poor, groggy girl when we got home. I ordered this & one other onesie that day, and fashioned a tee shirt & ace bandage emergency garment until this arrived the next day. It was perfect. Easy on, very secure, easy to adjust for potty without taking the whole thing off, but kept her and her friend away from her stitches while she healed. Highly recommend!

These are great instead of cones
I read the sizing and folks’ comments and ordered a Medium. For reference Jasmine is a 29.4 lb mini Aussie. Quality seems fine, but I returned the medium for large. Jasmine had ovarian remnant surgery and I tried these instead of a cone. Also, thankful I read a review that suggested getting 2 so I have an extra while other is being washed. Thes ework out great!

Comfy
Runs too big. Measured my pug at 15 inches down his back so I purchased a medium. Definitely too big. Feels like your favorite tshirt. Very soft. But was also easy to stretch and make it even bigger. I washed it and dried it twice and it helped shrink it a little bit. The velcro is quite strong and was very helpful. Mostly he walked and slept in it very comfortably. I would just be careful of the size.
