So Far, So Good!
My dog is a high energy mix – Aussie/Retriever/Border Collie – and at age 4 the vet told me he saw some pockets on her spine (via an x-ray) that indicated she would have joint issues when she got older. He advised me to start her on Glucosamine Chondroitin to get ahead of the issue and help slow down development of symptoms. I started giving her the dosage recommended by the vet at that time, but the treats I fed had no additional ingredients that would be helpful. Now, at age 8 1/2, she began to start whining for no discernible reason and slowed down when playing ball, beginning to limp after only a few minutes of playing. I had her thoroughly evaluated and it appears the dreaded joint issues predicted have developed. I researched, read reviews and ordered Doggie Dailies Advanced Hip & Joint Supplements since it had many additional ingredients, including MSM. Since I started giving her these treats she has stopped randomly whining and is able to fulfill that need to work off her excess energy by playing ball for a much longer period of time. This dog is my heart and soul and I would do anything for her. She is fed premium food, receives regular veterinary care, goes pretty much everywhere with me and is exercised regularly. I wouldn’t entrust her well being to just any kind of care and these treats seem to really be enhancing her quality of life! My goal is for her to be happy and healthy for many years to come and I hope these supplements will continue to be a successful part of her health regimen. She absolutely loves them and waits to gobble down her allotted amount each morning and night. It’s early days yet, but at this point I would absolutely recommend the product. With a money back guarantee, what do you have to lose? The label doesn’t contain calorie information, so I asked the company. They promptly responded and said each treat has between 9 and 10 calories. If you have a larger dog, as I do, multiple treats can add up calorically, so make sure to take those calories into account as part of the daily diet. Excess weight can contribute to hip and joint issues!

Solves the issue we were having with Cosequin tablets
We had been using Cosequin DS Chewables Plus tablets for years for both of our black labs. We would purchase ether at Amazon or Costco. In the last 8-10 months or so we noticed these tablets no matter where we purchased the tablets, they were going off/getting stale creating digestive issues for both the dogs. I Don’t know why. It took a while to find the source of the digestive problem. The tablets are stored in a cool dry cabinet, the same place they have been for years. We would buy one bottle at a time on Amazon thinking they would be fresher after several were bad from Costco. However, no such luck. I am not sure if they changed the recipe or something in the product, but I know for sure multiple sources over multiple orders would go off/stale. We searched for alternatives, found these Doggie Dailies, and so far they are great and appear to be a very high quality product. In general our dogs have never had a problem eating any pill or tablet we just hand them as a treat and they eat them. We normally put the glucosimine tablet in their dry kibble. These Doggie Dailies look like kibble/food. They even smell like a source of food versus the tablets. I think Doggie Dailies would work very well as a source or method of providing glucosamine for a picky dog who does not want to eat tablets or any other type tablet. Our two labs are approximately 60 lbs and are very fit/lean hunting bird dogs and family dogs. Per instructions they require 4 pieces of the dog dailies each per day (so roughly 56 days supply per dog) So roughly 28 cents a day per dog versus 1 tablet a day for the Cosequin at roughly 23 cents a day per dog. I am not going to compare each of the ingredients in detail both have sources of MSM etc… I am not a nutritionist or vet so I am not qualified to review all the contents or sources. I can tell you we strive to keep our 8 and 10 year old half brother black labs healthy, lean and fit. Their coats are radiant and both dogs are still very good hunters full of energy. We found these tablets after looking thru and comparing others. We are happy with these tablets. Our dogs digestive systems are back to normal after taking them off the Consequin (would be very gassy and could here their stomachs growling and the dogs were belching) which was not normal. We searched for the cause and found it to be the Cosequin DS Chewables when they would go off (within a week or two of purchase ). I no longer trust cosequin even after years of successful use. Hopefully, they figure out what is going on with their products because I know so many people use them, but may not be aware of smelling the product or even knowing it has gone off/stale. We are very happy with these Doggie Dailies and will stick with them as long as they continue to provide the same or better nutritional needs and results. Time will tell how well they work. I will update this review if we notice any that would drop their 5 star rating.

It is doing a good job for my dogs health!
Been using this brand, 7 times ordered. No complaints from my dog, she loves the flavor and I love that it stays soft.

Rubble, but seems effective
Don’t expect each chew to be uniform. They are not. I would say most are about the same size, but about 15-20% of the container is crumbs and rubble. Ordinarily I would be disappointed but it actually worked out. I have 2 old dogs, one is about 20 pounds, the other is about 8 pounds. A full size chew is fine for the heavy girl, but need only a half for the little one. The chews are rather dry and don’t cut well (they fall apart when you cut them), so I use the rubble for the little girl. She doesn’t seem to mind. They seem to work, though. Movement is good in both dogs. We were using a product from PetMeds previously and were not sure it was making a difference. Had to supplement with a pain med from our Vet. These, however, are clearly effective. Both dogs are doing well on walks. Have noticed a significant improvement in gait. Also, do not have to give them the daily pain meds.Very satisfied with this product. Just wish the chews were more uniform in size.
