Worth the expense. Worked really well with our Belgian Mal pup.
We were at our wit’s end with my Belgian Mal pup. We hired a trainer and worked consistently on recall but she still did not come when called on a consistent basis until we got this collar. It worked almost instantly and now our pup comes every single time. After 3 days of setting this to 20 and hitting the button that emits a beep followed by a “HERE!” call with holding down the constant vibrate button (releasing when she is sitting in front of me) and now all I have to do is hit the top right button (all that does is emit a beep–no buzzing at all) and she zooms in at high speed from clear across the 1-acre yard. I was hesitant to use this at first because I thought of these collars as old-school shock collars, but they don’t shock, really. Especially at low level, it’s more of just a vibration. It doesn’t appear to hurt her in any way. I am so glad we got this thing. Has saved us a heap of aggravation. I even forgot to put the collar on her the other day, let her out the back door into our fenced in yard, and when she started barking at our neighbor, she came in when called the first time.

Great product right fit!
The Dogtra 200iq is a great product! Overall very easy to use and super lightweight! My favorite part of the product is the dial that makes it super fast to increase stimulation level. My dog is a hunting breed and can easily not respond if a high distraction is present.As pictured is a 42 lb Brittany for context on sizing. He is a small dog but this collar fits well for his small size.I gave the product four stars only because the lighting function on the product is strobe only. I wish you could adjust the settings to allow for a constant LED light. The strobe is annoying if left on and feels like it blinds my dog. On the bright side (no pun intended) it does make it super easy to locate your dog in the dark.My dog and I will primarily use this to go swimming as it is waterproof and super durable.

Great for beginners, and experts
I’ve had it for two weeks now. I’ve only needed it in spontaneous training moments and I’m IMPRESSED with your standby mode. I corrected my girl, and it was a wonderful opportunity. I don’t use the prongs but if need be I could just screw them back on. The vibration option is also great- a single press gets their attention, and a long press is continual, which means business for my girl. The remote- add a regular key ring to it, and a carabiner or something of the like, and it’s perfect. Have no complaints so far!

Great Training device
Got me over the hurdle with my golden doodle training… almost immediately difference – follow instructions and you can easily train a dog – my dogs are in a play (live theater) and this collar works great to help keep them calm and controlled on stage with actors instead of their owner

Worth it
Don’t be cheap and by the Chinese knockoffs on Amazon. This device is reliable, well constructed, and has a range of options so you don’t hurt your pup. My dog now recalls to me if I’m half a mile away and can walk down the sidewalk without throwing a fit seeing a dog.

This was the first time buying an ecollar. I am still taking my time with it.My 7 month old dog just sits there when she feels it at level 21. She knows the commands very well (place, sit, break, down), but she will not budge when I tap her. Not even for a treat. If I go higher, then it’s too much on her. I will keep reading on it & working on correcting my technique.What I REALLY don’t like about this unit is the dial. In small hands it isn’t fliud. I have to use 2 hands to rotate the dial. Also, the numbering/markings on the dial are too small. My advice is to get a controller with a digital display.Furthermore, for the price, they could have given you a lanyard that was easy to attach to the controller. It’s impossible to thread the itsy bitsy ring to the controller. Thankfully, I was able to dig up a larger ring. For the price, everything should be hassle free, even the cheapo lanyard.DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON INTRODUCING AN ECOLLAR TO YOUR DOG. PLEASE, DON’T THROW IT ON AND EXPECT YOUR DOG TO UNDERSTAND. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING VIDEOS & READING AUP FOR MONTHS BEFORE BUYING ONE. Like I said, I have used it once and she is confused. She doesn’t want to move and she looks all over to see what is causing the tingling. I am holding off until I find a solution. I will stay with the spike collar. It is amazing how she knows when that collar is on, she must walk nicely by my side.
