    Great for indoor/outdoor pets!
We have indoor/outdoor pets as we live in the country. Out boy cat is always getting in fights with racoons or other animals. Usually looks bad, I want to make sure it doesn’t get infected , but it rarely warrants a vet visit. This stuff is amazing! It is thick like tar, barely coming out of the tube so it REALLY stays on. It keeps even larger wounds from getting infected or forming a scab. Everything heals so fast. The first few times our cat hated it but I think it must be quite soothing as he would come over and let me put it on easily. I tried it on a scrape of mine and it does feel good. $16 well spent!

    Worth Every Penny!
This ointment has been the best purchase I have made for both my cats and dog. It literally heals wounds overnight! A huge plus is this ointment is safe for your pet if they lick it, which I’m sure is everyone’s number one concern for a product like this. That was a key factor in purchasing this product over all the others available. I will forever keep this ointment on hand for my pets. It is a little on the pricey side but a little goes a long way which makes it worth the price in my opinion. 100% have and will continue to recommend Dr. Maggie Skin Care Ointment!

Helps my pups occasionally itchy feet
My pup occasionally gets itchy or cut feet from being out on the trails. This works great. She doesn’t lick it like another products I’ve purchased. I’m very happy with this product

    love this natural ointment
i was fostering a cat who almost pulled her claw out the doctor said we have to just wait for it to heal and after a week of putting this ointment on it looked immensely better. it’s nice because it’s not harmful if she were to lick it off but it still was helping heal. great product if you’re worried about your pet ingesting ointment and i would definitely recommend over neosporin which shouldn’t really be used on animals but is

    It’s ointment
I’m not certain how I feel about this product, my cat had an abcess, but by the time I got this product it broke open on its own, so I kept smearing it on with a q tip hoping it would react like kitty neosporin. He has a bald spot, some crust, a crusty lump, he seems over it already. I guess it worked I guess it’s hard to tell.

    Perfect for Sphynx Pet Parents
I have an almost two year old Sphynx (hairless) cat. Despite keeping HIS nails trimmed as well as my other two cats’ nails trimmed, he inevitably will get scratches and slight wounds on his skin whether it be from rough housing with my other cats, scratching himself or even licking himself. I’ve tried everything and Dr. Maggie’s ointment is a LIFE saver! It’s easy to use, safe for my Sphynx, and it will literally heal slight wounds and scratches in half a day or less. When he has any kind of marks, I just apply the ointment liberally (rub it in well) in the morning and by early evening the marks are either 100% gone or almost 100% healed/invisible. In my opinion, this is a must have for any sphynx owner or owner of a delicate breed… ESPECIALLY if they are tomboy like mine!

    Relief 🥴
My little cat has hot spots on her belly and hind legs between her paws and “ankles”. She is the sixth cat I’ve had in 25 years and this is new to me. It seems I learn something new with each cat!Anyway, I tried this ointment for the first time just now when I noticed her licking and chewing furiously at her belly. I put some on her belly rash and some on the sores on her hind legs. As I was putting it on, she looked up at me as if she was saying, “Oh, bless you…” It seems to have given her immediate relief. I thought I would have to put some “clothes” on her to prevent her from licking it all off, but when I was done she just laid down and went to sleep. 💕 😊This is her and she actually likes to sit (and sometimes sleep) folded in half like this, the little weirdo. Those are her hind legs sticking out to the sides! 😹

Probably helped cats hot ear. No vet!
14 year old cat, never has issues. But, itchy ear. Rubbed fur off and she hates the vet! Tried the ointment 2 or 3 times per day. Kind of rubbed outside of ear and inner skin too. Held her scruff to be safe, and she was cooperative. After 5 days, started to see improvement and then started applying to inner ear skin only, so she wouldn’t try to clean it off as she would on outside. It is difficult to say if this would’ve healed without any ointment, but surely a maybe. For 15 bucks and to avoid the vet and cost, a “maybe” is fine with me. Two weeks in, stopped ointment after one week, and hot ear is just about gone. As pictured.

My outdoor female had developed a rash or irritation under her chin. She kept scratching it and it looked like someone had used a cheese grater on her. She is not easily handled and I thought there must be something OTC to help her, instead of going to the vet. It took 2 of us to hold her while i applied the cream to her chin. Did this 3 times yesterday. Checked her again this morning and the redness is almost gone, and it seems a lot better. Will continue applying for a few more days. The product is thick, very lightly scented but it’s easy to apply. Small tube, but you don’t need much. I like the fact that it is made in Canada and that the ingredients are natural.Highly recommend for irritation, small cuts. Not certain how well this would work on large open wound.

It works so well I was surprised. My dog has hot spots and with one use the redness and irritation had calmed down.

I think it improved my dog skin condition. She was scratching herself for a month and lost some hair.

Liked: This product helped my cats hotspots when they would get dry and break open. The product seem to provide some relief. The product would moist in the skin and lift the dry skin off, so I was able to wipe away the scab and dry skin without pain.Disliked: smell, viscosity, stickiness. My cat hated this product on her hotspots however it did work and helped

I noticed a large patch of hair missing on my beautiful Bengal cat — she had scratched herself and started licking the area excessively, which made it worse. Before heading to the vet, we decided to give this ointment a try, and I’m so glad we did.Within two days, the wound had healed, and now, about a month later, the hair is almost fully grown back. I was honestly worried it wouldn’t grow back at all, but this worked better than I expected. It’s now our go-to spot treatment for both our cat and dog. We’ll definitely keep this on hand for any future pet skin emergencies!
