Dyson HushJet™ compact purifier is Dyson’s most powerful, small-format purifier. Basing their design on that of jet engines, Dyson engineers developed HushJet™ air projection, which minimizes noise while purifying rooms of up to 203 sq ft. So, it’s compact in size yet powerfully circulates air throughout the entire room.
Compact and powerful, yet quiet. Engineered for minimal disturbance.
With Dyson air purifiers, the whole machine is fully sealed. Which means they don’t emit pollutants¹ back into the air you’re breathing.
The 360° Electrostatic filter captures 99.97% of pollutants as small as 0.3 microns.² Lasts up to five years,³ reducing filter replacement hassle and costs.
The 360° Activated Carbon filter removes pet and cooking odors,⁴ and even gases such as NO₂.² Traps airborne pollutants on a highly porous surface, capturing unpleasant smells and harmful gases.²
As quiet as a whisper. Our star-shaped nozzle reduces noise and turbulence, delivering pure air at just 24dB in Sleep mode.
Control and monitor air quality from anywhere using the MyDyson app, or hands-free with compatible voice services.⁵
Set schedules and receive personalized air quality reports via the MyDyson app.⁵
Control airflow speed, Auto mode, Sleep mode and other settings – so you can set up your perfect indoor environment.
In Auto mode, Dyson purifiers save energy by intelligently purifying only when they sense a drop in air quality, avoiding unnecessary energy spikes and prolonging the life of their filters.

Outstanding purifier
Overall this is an excellent purifier when used for its intended purpose. I am hoping Dyson continues to improve on this model in the future. My use case is bedrooms with litter boxes. Included a picture of my most outgoing feline for scale. Was so impressed, purchased more of these units.Pros: Without question it improves air quality when used within a 200sf or smaller bedroom. Even with a litter box. Added benefit is when set to 5 for speed, it also acts like a white noise machine. Subtle and not annoying. That has been helpful to drown out a commuter train nearby that has always woke me up previously.Cons: Received on 11/23 and as of 12/6, the carbon filter life is now at 93% and HEPA at 99%. At this rate, the carbon filter will need replacing around May 2026 or half of the advertised lifespan.Asks of Dyson: Introduce a model of the Hushjet line with built-in CO2 monitoring. Around the same time of the HJ10 purchased, also picked up a BP04 that has CO2 monitoring for a large TV room. The CO2 levels were shockingly bad. Purchased a small standalone CO2 for bedroom and it was high as well. The other improvement is create pedastal for the HJ series so cats can’t knock it over.

Works great
Love it !!! So quiet I almost forget it’s onKicks in automatically to help purify the air. I was air frying something , almost burn it, air purifier kicked on and helped eliminate the smell

Higher upfront cost, but lower maintenance cost
Great for smaller rooms. Filters seem to last long. Noise is only slightly noticeable at max level.Inbuilt air quality sensors more or less match my other sensors. Overall, it reacts quickly to changes in quality in auto mode.My only nitpick is that if the power goes out, it doesn’t turn back on and requires manual power on. It would be nice if it would remember last state and automatically turn back on if it was on before the power went out.

Clean Air
I’ve been using an old Levoit air purifier in my room for years. I always bought quality filters, and overall, it did a great job at keeping the air fresh. Recently, I decided to upgrade and picked up the Dyson after reading more into the technology behind its filtration system. The build quality immediately feels premium, and the airflow is noticeably stronger and quieter. What really stands out is how well it monitors air quality in real time and automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain clean air. It’s sleek, efficient, and feels like a true upgrade in both performance and design

Keeps smells away
Awesome purifier. So quiet sometimes I think it’s not working. Works great when on. No smell at all when cooking foods. Just wondering about the filter life and when/how to change once it’s needed

Excellent product.
This product was incredibly easy to set up. I simply unpacked it, opened the app, made a few settings, and I was done. I use it on the automatic setting, and everything functions flawlessly. It operates quietly and effectively. The air is clean, and all smells and odors have vanished. Everything I hoped it would be.

Hum Noise
My biggest complaint is the noticeable, annoying hum it makes. It’s difficult for me to capture the loudness of the hum using just my phone’s recording app because the air output is also making noise. But hopefully you can still hear it enough on the uploaded very short video clip. Again, the hum is quite noticeable in person, and should not be present on any air purifier, especially one as expensive as this.

Great value surprising strength
This is an amazing little workhorse. I have a DTF printing business that I run out of my home studio and we also do wood engraving too so there can be a lot of fumes going on at once and this little Dyson takes care of that no problem! I religiously stand by Dysons products, especially the air purifiers, I have one in every room but I am extra impressed with this one. Worth the $300 all day long.
