Worth every penny for 18 yr old cat…so thankful!
A million stars! Our 18 year old kitty can still jump…but in the middle of the night when she’s extra tired, I noticed she’ll sometimes bump her back legs on the bed frame when she’s jumps down. 🥺 Also, on the rare occasion she doesn’t feel well, she can’t always get up. Since our bed is her favorite spot, it was time for stairs.(Scroll down for tips on when to get stairs and caring for an elderly cat.)WHY I LOVE THESE plus TIP:*The purple is a perfect fit for our vibe.*The double zipper offers versatility; move the zipper to a hidden spot where it won’t scratch you or your furnature no matter where you put the stairs.*Our bed is a few inches higher than the top stair and it works perfectly.*Our stairs popped up quickly. I didn’t have to wait a day, they were up in a hour.*There is a strap on the back that I initially planned on tying to the bed frame, but for now I just have them propped up against the bed.*If it turns out we need stairs for her other favorite spots, these are the ones I will get. They come in various sizes and I like that I have color options.*As you can see, I have a night stand AND these are in front of that night stand. I was worried about where these would go and if this spot would work but it’s not an issue for me. I swing my legs off the side next to the stairs no problem.TIPS:*There are slats that you put in…the top slat in mine was nearly impossible. I should have put the slats in before doing anything else. I used a nail file to just shave a tiny fraction off the edge so I could get the slat started and then it was no problem.*I think a handheld steamer iron would help if it won’t fully expend or is too wrinkly. I recommend everyone own a steam iron…it’s great for ironing clothes AND helped with many random Amazon purchases. Mine was cheap on Amazon.WHEN/WHY SHOULD YOU GET STAIRS? I don’t recommend stairs until or unless they’re needed. Part of an animals quality of life is movement, so we intentionally create scenarios that incline our 18 yr old kitty to move. Bed on top floor, food on middle floor, littler down by the garage. If she starts having issues, we’ll happily change things to accommodate her in her older years. But I believe there are several contributing factors to her current health.1) A great vet and regular visits as needed.2) Dasuquin: It’s actually a supplement, not a medicine. Our vet says it doesn’t work on all cats, so we’re thankful it works with our sweet girl. At 16, she started to struggled getting on the bed and would miss. The vet suggested this and two years later it’s still working for her!❤️ She jumps on the guest bed and couch no issues and during daytime when she’s more lively, she still prefers to jump over using the stairs.3) I monitor her weight. She does well and her meds and the dasuquin work best if she’s within a certain range.4) Daily playtime. She doesn’t move as much, but she still asks for a few minutes of playtime. I wave toys at her and she gleefully bats at them…and sometimes even chase them.🤣5) Intentionally spacing things out to require movement.6) She can’t jump to windowsills anymore so we have claimable scratching posts in front of her two favorite windows so she can still enjoy them as she pleases.7) BONUS: she gets 4 different things all mixed into her morning wet food, including that Dasuquin. So, I got 1/2 ounce containers cheap on Amazon and use some of them to prep her morning meds in advance. I always have at least a week or more done up AND I now keep up an to date care giver sheet ready (that includes our vet contact info) so in case of emergency or if we head out for a weekend, the cat sitter knows what do and kitty gets the proper meds.RANDOM THING…ELECTRIC LITTER BOXES: We don’t have any need for an electric littler box, but if you do, please choose carefully. Don’t get generic or the kind that have a closing front door; terrible accidents have happened to cats. Instead research the proper options and if in doubt, your cat clinic should be able to suggest the safest options.

Great!
we have a little French bulldog and we are living in a fifth wheel camper full-time. Our master bedroom bed is really high off the ground and I didn’t want my dog to hurt himself attempting to jump up and down every day so I found these cute little stairs. One are the perfect size and they also are adjustable for a different height. The stairs are very soft and lightweight so they’re easy to move around and adjust. The fabric is also removable so you can wash it. I have sat on it a couple of times and it’s very comfortable and squishy, it is stable, and my dog can get up and down off the bed with ease. I can tell that he likes the stairs because it gives him independent and he is all about his independent.

Dogs finally using something we purchased!
A god send! Our babies are getting up in age so jumping up and down is a big no no. We got these for our little girl (20lbs) and she goes up and down fine. But our big boy (35lbs) didn’t like them, so we ended up folding the stairs together and use them as big, sturdy blocks they can both use. We have one by the sofa, one by the lounge chair, and one by the bed. Both doggos find it really easy to get up and down now. The foam is really dense — I was looking for something that was sturdy and would give my babies confidence to use (they both refuse to step on regular ramps) and they both use these now. The stirs are slip resistant in a smooth, velvet-like covering. So pleased we found these!

Smart, Lightweight Steps That Give Small Pets Big Independence
We bought these dog stairs to help our small senior dog reach our high bed without needing to be lifted every time, and it’s been a real quality-of-life upgrade for both of us. The stairs arrive folded, pop open easily, and feel surprisingly sturdy for something so lightweight. The non-slip treads give our pup (and our cat!) good traction, which was my biggest worry after some bad experiences with slick plastic steps.I like that there are different step heights, we went with the 3-step version and it’s the perfect rise for our bed, but the 4- or 5-step versions would work for taller furniture. When not in use, they fold flat and slide under the bed for storage, much easier than the big, bulky pet ramps I’ve tried in the past. The only downside is that the steps are a bit narrow for larger breeds, so medium or big dogs might not feel as stable. But for small dogs or cats, they’re ideal. If you’re tired of lifting your pet on and off furniture or worrying about them jumping and hurting themselves, these stairs are a simple, affordable solution that actually look nice in the room and don’t take up much space.

My dog likes and relies on them
A godsend for my little mixed breed dog! She’s only 8” tall so her legs are only about 4” long and she loves to get on the sofa and bed. She basically requires it :). She took to these stairs immediately. She is older and I just rescued her from traffic a few months ago with pre-existing old healed injuries and she runs up and down them. They are sturdy but have some give to them.

Just want my Frenchie needed
After recently being diagnosed with IVDD, my Frenchie is regaining some use of her legs again. This came in perfect for her as the o to er one we had was too short for her to get on our bed and she was still falling backwards onto her back. The functionality of the step inserts helps. We only left the bottom one in as the rest seemed too hard for her to climb. For her it was a safety issue to leave them in as she can grip the steps better without them in. It folds easily for storage. Love it, would recommend!

The image with the Frenchie? That dog is a fraction of the size of a real frenchie. These are so small they’re almost comical. We use it as a filler in between the seats because we cant be bothered returning it. No where near high enough for an 11KG frenchie to get up on anything. seriously this is as close as it gets to misleading advertising!

I have a Pomeranian that should not be jumping off furniture because of health issues that are typically for his breed. I bought these stairs for him to get up and down off my bed and the couch. They are wrapped perfect. No smell. And they are sturdy. They unzip to form a soft bed or whatever as seen in my pictures. The fabric is awesome. It’s like a corduroy so not slippery and very durable. They are excellent quality and I’ll be buying another one for the living room. I bought these stairs four stair one and it’s perfect for my bed( note: I do not have a bed frame) so if you have a high bed maybe more steps needed like one more.

Good quality and my dog loves it

These steps are minimalist, relatively good looking, sturdy, and do the trick. They are my cat’s new favourite place to sleep in addition to a gentle way for them to get on and off the bed. I highly recommend.

Our 15 year old cat has arthritis in her back legs and hips and has begun to struggle jumping and climbing. These stairs have been perfect in aiding her to get to higher surfaces. Incredibly easy assembly. Slightly wobbly if a lot of force is applied to the top step from the side, but that’s to be expected as it’s mainly made of fabric and is tall; it’s still very sturdy and our cat feels very comfortable climbing them. She loves to sit on them too!
