Vincent –
C220 solid little camera at a good price.
Really solid indoor cam overall. Video is super clear and the pan/tilt is smooth and actually useful for covering the whole room. Night vision looks great too. It does need a HomeBase 3 to fully work with local storage and the rest of the Eufy system, which some people might not like, but honestly, it’s kind of a bonus because it keeps everything in one place and avoids monthly fees, or you can pay for cloud storage but why would you with HB3.Setup was easy for me, but I’ve seen others say they had to update firmware or dig around in the app to get the HomeBase option to show up. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know. Motion tracking is cool, but sometimes it lags a bit or sends alerts for stuff that’s not really important. Also, it only detects people—not pets or baby crying—so keep that in mind if that matters to you. Overall though, for the price, it does a lot and works well once it’s all hooked up. Would recommend if you’re already in the Eufy ecosystem or planning to be.

Cheap, Good, Local
Dont wait until you’re the victim of a break-in. Keep your peace of mind. These cameras continue to meet my expectations.Good fair pricing, easy to install, easy to set up.Again, only issue is the continued sub-splitting of WiFi signal with each new camera.

Disappointing Camera with Major Connectivity and Usability Issues
This camera is a prime example of how more technology doesn’t always mean a better product. The brand promises a ton of fancy features, but it fails to deliver on the core purpose: providing a reliable way to view the camera feed. The connection process is painfully slow, taking forever to link up, even when I drop the video quality to the lowest setting. This makes it nearly impossible to check the feed when I need it most, rendering the camera practically useless for real-time monitoring.Even when I finally get the video to load, the problems continue. The interface is clunky, and I can’t pan or move the camera view without significant lag. It takes an excruciatingly long time to refresh, and the app struggles to register my attempts to adjust the view. To top it off, the app crashes repeatedly—two or three times in a single session is standard. This camera’s poor connectivity, sluggish performance, and frequent crashes make it a bad product. The brand may offer a lot of bells and whistles, but they’ve completely missed the mark on delivering a functional camera. Save your money and look for something that actually works.

Wow is all I can say
Love this camera. Got the 1st one the a second and now the flood light one. I have an alarm system with a big name on line company whose cameras are TERRIBLE so I wanted back ups and I wished I would have used all Eufy cameras. Clarity, easy hook up and cloud back up, what’s not to love! The quality and function is great and the ability to pick up motion and ignore my pets is great. Buy this camera!

Inexpensive security camera
Works well, but does not seem to support continuous recording. I’m using it with a home base 3. On recording playback, if the camera moves while tracking motion, you can hear the motor and it’s not exactly quiet. I’ve got outdoor eufy cameras that move and track motion and they make less noise while doing it. Granted they are 4 times the price though. For $30, its hard to go wrong with this as a cheap potentially disposable surveillance camera. I bought it to see the cats and other creatures that frequent my patio and yard. I wanted something that is always on to avoid the wake up delay of my solar powered cameras since they sometimes miss things entirely due to the delay. I have this unit mounted to the ceiling in my covered patio. I purchased a tiny cruise ship 3 outlet extension cord that has usb ports and is water resistant. This allowed me to still power my patio lights and this camera without tieing up another outlet. It is fully sheltered from sun, rain, snow, etc. These inexpensive cameras are not designed for outdoor use so use at your own risk. If it lasts a year, I’ll be thrilled. My only real complaint, is the same for all eufy 2k cameras. They are not very clear, it would be hard to see clear faces on any of the videos from any of my 2k cameras. I suspect the encoding is of low quality, so while the AI face detection does work and matches my added family members to their appearances on video, it’d rather blocky when you try and zoom in. Even after downloading the video.

Love these.
Absolutely love these, I rent a house so it’s not feasible to run wires and do abunch of mounting of cameras. I have multiple different Eufy cameras and they are awesome. My outside cameras are mounted on a clamping system on my gutters allowing me to get my security deposit back but allowing me to have security of my home. The picture quality is the best. The build quality is unquestionable, the best value for product and super easy to use.

Good product, difficult to set up
Good product if you can set it up.First issue: While connecting it to my home WiFi network for IoT devices, the setup constantly reported failure. Finally I figured out that the camera must be able to talk to the phone you are using to set it up. The problem was, my IoT device network was set up to disallow devices talking to each other (hence the camera cannot talk to the phone), for security purpose. This is not an issue with older Eufy cameras, e.g. E220, why does the setup process require the camera talking to the phone now? All information can be transferred through the QR code scanning, isn’t it?Second issue: The camera won’t recognize a SD card (which is on the whitelist) that’s formatted on a macbook… I had to format it on a Windows machine eventually. I’ve tried all different combinations of formatting options on a macbook pro, it just didn’t work. After the above issues were resolved, the camera works as expected now.

Missing crying detection as available in e220.Edit: I have reached out to eufy and they clarified that its not meant for baby monitoring. The after service experience I got from Lesley was phenomenal. I cannot recommend eufy enough.

This camera works, it record decent quality videos and sending notifications if movement detected. There are a lot of setting and privacy more which turns camera away, AI tracking works, it’s a good camera overall. But to me it has a little but very annoying shortcoming which make this camera hard to use. Initially I gathered a lot of information about this camera via Eufy web site and youtube reviews and selling point to me was that it has scheduler in the app which can manage camera modes, i.e. what time it’s recording and notifies about movement and what time it is in privacy mode doing nothing. So my idea was that I’d set camera working when I’m away or sleeping and privacy mode when I’m at home. But it appeared that scheduler sounds alarm when it switches modes and sometimes this alarm is delayed for hour or two. Movement alarms works fine though, my experiments showed no more than 5 sec delay with alerts on movements. And scheduler alarm sound is the same as movement alarm, you can’t change it. It’s sort of Ok when you’re at work but when scheduler alarm wakes you up – it’s not good. Eufy support said that they might update it in next application/hardware upgrade and I hope they will. In the meantime I had to use a power outlet timer, so I just turn off/on camera power on schedule I need. It’s not a very convenient thing, when camera powered off I can’t do anything with it – i.e. quickly turn on from the app if I need it outside programmed time in power outlet timer or check past videos or change settings etc. So I made it sort of working but I’ll hold buying another one unless Eufy fixes scheduler.

I bought it after reading some good reviews. Bought two different but similar items. C220 and c210. None of them connect to my wifi. The wifi modem is dual band and gives both 5 g and 2.4 g and despite selecting 2.4 g connectiin thru eufy app, it fails to connect. I guess I could have dug deeper with modem but since it is a new and decent modem, I did not think should mess around with my modem for this one camera where there are several other devices working fine with my modem. Returned the product.
