Customers say
Customers find this squirrel food to be of high quality and appreciate its variety, with one customer noting it’s a good transition food from formula and baby food. However, many customers report that their squirrels won’t eat it and consider it a waste of money. While some customers find it healthy, others disagree, and there are mixed opinions about the variety of seeds, with some appreciating the assortment while others note there are too many peanuts and corn kernels.

Loved by squirrels and birds!
I have 4-6 squirrels that visit my yard because of the plethora of food I provide for them and the birds. Since the squirrels are always in the bird feeder, I mixed this in. Everything is gone within hours, so I can’t say what the squirrels don’t like because whatever they don’t eat, the birds eat. I’ve noticed a woodpecker coming around and it likes the pumpkin seeds. It’s pricey though so I’ll only order as a treat once in a while when the price goes down.

Squirrel feed
It’s good quality feed. The squirrel didn’t eat everything in it though.

Best squirrel food
Was really in need of this and received it in a timely manner. Definitely a better option than what I had. Thank you for the great product! Squirrels love it 🙌🏽

Maybe this guy is picky
Squirrel buddy only ate the nuts. He did not seem to eat the meal worms or bugs. Didn’t touch the pellets at all. The walnuts seemed to be his favorite. He would eat the pumpkin seeds last. Beware funny thing, he would shallowly bury his snacks for later and some pumpkins seeds sprouted.

Good for rescue squirrels
Good for rescue squirrels. Happy it’s available on Amazon. Price is ok. Our most recent rescue squirrel had this for his first solid food and I was surprised he chose a dried cricket over one of the nuts/seeds in the mix. Great variety. He had trouble with the pumpkin seeds at first but when he got older he ate those too.

The squirrels delight
Are squirrel really loves this? We thought we could just give him regular birdseed, but he only eats this.

Disappointed – feed was musty and no one would eat it
I take care of orphan squirrels and currently have one that was newborn that was abandoned after a severe storm. I’ve raised him since he was 2 days old and it was time to start introducing foods instead of formula. I also have a farm so I know when feed goes bad, especially when it has that nasty powdery mold/fungus feel. That was what I found when I first opened the bag that I purchased here. I’ve seen this in old feed corn as well as bags of grains. The animals always know better than to eat it, even when it’s rinsed off or after a thunderstorm. That is what I found was the case here. There’s no expiration date on the package so there is no way of telling just how old this is. After my young squirrel refused all of it I dumped it in the yard where I normally put down a mix of corn/bird seed/chicken feed – which I always have out for the geese, turkeys and squirrels that are always around. After 3 days this product was not touched at all and the other food that I put down was completely gone. The critters didn’t even bother to eat the nuts which are in the mix which I was really surprised to see.As other people have pointed out: corn, pumpkin seeds, pistachios, sunflower and peanuts are not the best thing to feed squirrels. They are okay but not recommended as a main diet. Raw peanuts can be very dangerous to squirrels and should be avoided – mainly because the possibility of fungus exposure.Walnuts, beechnuts, butternuts, hickory nuts, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, non citrus fruits and veggies (carrots, peas, broccoli, squash) are all excellent foods for squirrels – domestic or wild.

My squirrel loves the food. The only issue i had was the shipping was a little expensive. But all in all a great product. Fast delivery( especially during the lockdown).

Way too much money for what it is, I’d rather spend the money on things I know they like and make my own mixture and probably get way more.Mostly pumpkin seeds

I love the squirrels who frequent our yard. This certainly appears to be a fresh, high quality food to help them through the hard times of winter.

Don’t buy this it is expensive and my squirrel don’t like. I have checked the ingredients there’s lots of corn and bit of pumkin seeds some unhealthy nuts which now ypu can buy in bulk in stores like walnuts which are much more healthier for squirrel
