Does not collapse with your pet inside!
It took me three tries to find a soft sided cat carrier that does not collapse with my cat in it. This one has metal rods across the top that you have to sort of clip together. No chance of losing parts and they stay together very well. Those rods keep the carrier sturdy while in use so it won’t collapse on your pet. When not in use you can disconnect the metal rods and collapse down for storage if preferred (I don’t because I want it ready if needed in emergency and holding a cat whilepopping the rods together would not be possible).I’m going to buy a size up to use for my other cat because I like this carrier more that what I’ve been using for him (his current has a plastic frame you put together that is not attached to the fabric so the frame wants to slide out if using the end opening and being plastic is not as strong as metal frame). I was originally really bummed that his carrier was no longer in stock to buy for the second cat but now that I found this carrier I’m happy I couldn’t purchase another of the plastic frame carrier!

Added a few things….
I cut a double layer of cardboard for the bottom so the bag wouldn’t droop with my dog in it. Added some zipper pulls, and then bought an $8 cat bed with tufted sides to go in it. Other than that, the bag is sturdy and excellent with an amazing price point.Some of the pics show my modifications. The included Sherpa mat is okay, I just wanted something a bit more. I placed both beds on top of each other so if you notice extra height, that’s where it’s coming from. When my Pomeranian gets older I’ll probably take out the original bed for and extra three fourths inch or so.Love the rope handles and the shoulder strap that converts to a leash. One of the main reasons why I bought it.Actual dimensions are 17 long, 11 1/2” wide, 12” high. This was a happy discovery because I didn’t want it too be bulky. You may decide otherwise…

Perfect combo between hard and soft
This is a great carrier, well made and sturdy, it has soft sides but there are two sturdy rods that flip into place on top when setting it up. Each corner has a very solid metal frame. It will store compacted when not in use. There’s a nice Sherpa lined base, a pouch for food or treats and handle can become a leash if needed. Heaven forbid if there was an accident in a car or whatever, this carrier won’t collapse or get crushed, that’s how sturdy and strong it is! I,have lots of peace of mind when I put my pup into this for travel, and he likes it too!!

Does not fit under Alaska Airlines seats.
This carrier did not fit under the seat on alaska airlines. They almost made us get off the plane because it did not fit.

I have not used it yet, but it looks super high-quality. I can also use it in my vehicle and strap it to my center consul. I made some straps to hook onto the carrying handles so she does not slide around but looks like very high-quality.

Love this carrier!
This one of many in a long line of trying out carriers and this is the first one my pom actually goes into, even when she doesn’t have to. It’s sturdy, stable, and just the perfect size for her. In addition, I am in love with the options that it has! The storage bag on the end, the ability to unzip the top and/or the sides and the handles that turn into leashes. This is the absolute best purchase I’ve made as far as carriers go AND it’s airline compliant!

PET CARRIERS are either HARD sided or SOFT sided. This is the perfect combination of both. Sturdy. Heavy duty denier nylon. Hardware looks to be good quality and zippers pull smoothly.

I like that it has a metal frame. The material is pretty durable.I think the shoulder strap coming off to become a leash is a fantastic idea. Pretty ingenious.I like that it comes with the little Sherpa mat for the bottom.It’s a decent size for most cats, but not the heavier kitties. First of all, once they get above 15 lb or so, this thing starts to become a little bit too small. Secondly, there could be more support in the bottom. The bottom really isn’t rigid, so it sinks down a bit under some weight.I’ve never really given these kinds of carriers a second thought, but this one is a pretty good alternative to a solid carrier.
