[Choose the Right Size] This 48″ x 29.3″ x 31.7″ dog crate is ideal for dogs weighing between 93-110 lb. Recommended breeds: German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, Golden Retriever, etc. Please read our measuring tips in the notes for choosing the right size

[Removable for More Uses] To make your dog feel less restricted, you can remove the door. Or, you can remove the top lid to make the dog cage a playpen—a safe, cozy haven for your dog
[Easy to Clean] This dog cage comes with a pull-out tray so you can take it out for cleaning—easily keeping your fur friend’s place clean (it’ll thank you for that!)

Customers say

Customers find the dog crate sturdy and easy to assemble, taking about 20 minutes to complete, and appreciate its quality and value for money. The size is perfect for growing Rottweilers, with plenty of space for blankets and food/water. The latch security and bottom security receive mixed feedback – while some find it secure, others report issues with the bottom sliding out easily. Several customers report durability issues, with the crate breaking quickly.

    Very well made
This is awesome for my big boy. He goes right in during the day to hang out. He sits up and head doesn’t touch the top like in a plastic crate. I wanted a crate with lots of airflow because he runs hot (boxer/retriever mix). He’s a very strong dog so it needed to be able to hold up too. This fits all categories. A small size washable rug happens to fit perfectly too. I won’t be putting this in the car because it wouldn’t fit.

    Big dog approved.
Bought this kennel because the traditional wire kennel turned out to be dangerous. My dogs bottom eyelid got hooked in one of the hooks on the old kennel and cost me $1500 to get surgery to repair his punctured third eyelid. So I needed to find a new kennel to fit this monster of a dog. I got this one to try and turns out it’s great. It only came with one broken weld. But it fits his giant self comfortably. I love the opening at the top so he can look around and not feel caged in if I didn’t want to deal with him knocking things over. But yea…I would say this is worth a purchase. It was easy to assemble. But the only only thing I would suggest for the manufacturing people, is the brackets that “hold” the tray into the bottom, make them longer. They don’t do anything besides a safety hazard for wrinkly dogs.

    Great buy.
Great dog crate I have a Rottweiler puppy he’s 5 months now about 75-80 pounds and he fits great and still has enough room to grow. Very easy to put together. Very easy to clean.

    Safely Holds and Aggressive/Anxious Pittie
This kennel is used with one of our rescue dogs who chewed through a previous cheaper quality kennel we had him in. The metal is sturdy enough to not easily be chewed through easily, this is not for a super chewer. This is higher quality than the flimsy metal ones. We are happy with the purchase and that there are two doors, front and top that allow us a little more flexibility when needing to get things insides/outside the kennel when the dog is inside.

    It’s not great at all
I have a 95lb Catahoula with separation anxiety. First day in this crate he absolutely demolished the tray. There’s nothing under the tray for bars or anything it’s just entirely open on the floor so he was just walking around the house still in his crate. The latch security is minimal at best I had to put a pretty beefy carabiner on the bottom door because he kept getting out of it, granted he’s a very determined boy. There is not a latch for the bottom half of the door that holds it shut where the little door is so it wasn’t great for keeping him enclosed. The two top latches have to be positioned right up against the latch loop or even the slightest shake will cause them to easily pop out and your dog will be loose. The size of the crate is great for a large breed. Plenty of room for him to sit, lay, stand.Assembly was simple enough. To transport this crate you need a truck and it’s kind of a pain. Ease of transport I would say is minimal. It’s not light and moving it in and out of the house or rooms is a task.Overall quality of the bars seems decent, he destroys regular wire crates and this one has held up. If it had better quality latches on the door I would give it 4 stars.

    Husky Approved
My separation anxiety husky who has bent and broken out of every regular metal cage has not broken out of this one yet! I just wish the latches were better quality but it’s working well so far

    Good Quality
The quality of the sides seems good. I like that the sides seem stronger than the cheaper crates, but it still has a base that is solid. We can’t have anything in the crate with our dog Willow because she chews everything up. A lot of the stronger crates have a wire bottom that would cause orthopedic problems if she was laying on it without a softer mat for a long time. Maybe one day we can introduce softer items, but right now she can’t have anything that she could chew up. It was very easy to put together. The price is reasonable. I also like that the door is on the side, compared to the front like our last one. I think that makes it easier to get her in it. The only thing I am not completely happy with is the latches. There are two, so maybe it will be okay, but they seem loose. I’m a little concerned she might figure out a way to get them open. With our last crate, she found a way to push up against the door to get it out of the track. She was able to get it open and chewed up/ate things around the house. Hopefully that doesn’t happen with this one.

It arrived early and in good condition. Other reviewers mentioned that some holes hadn’t been drilled all the way through and I believed that was the problem with mine too. Then I finally took a closer look and these four pegs were protected by small plastic caps. It would have helped had the assembly diagram included this info. Once I figured that out, it went together easily. It’s sturdy. And heavy. Make sure you assemble it in the room you intend to place it in. I have a small bed cushion, two dishes and a regular sized pee pad in it with room to spare. I get my dog in two weeks. I’m ready!!

Great quality – only complaint is the design of the door. Not sure why there is a small door at the bottom but if you’re not careful, it can get unlatched (we learned this the hard way and our puppy got out and roamed the house for an hour). Be careful when opening or closing the door that all sections are closed.

Super easy to put together! My 8 month blue heeler (medium sized dog) is contained with a ton of space for him to spread out, and he is an annoyingly aggressive chewer… Not one dent in the bars lol. The bottom sliding out is really good feature because it’s easier to clean without having to move the cage around. The door is brilliantly made with the bottom being able to open to put things into the cage especially if you have a very eager puppy. The top door of the cage would be a really good idea for a cat with kittens so she can leave the cage and the kittens safely at free will.

This is the best kennel I’ve owned, worth the money. It fits two of my 80lb dogs comfortably and its just shy of length for a crib mattress. Perfect for my home. I haven’t tried it travelling so I’m not sure about that.
