It was immediately apparent to me how supple and malleable the cloth was as soon as I put the collar over Max’s neck. I was able to find the ideal level of snugness because of the design’s ability to be adjusted. It was tight enough to remain in place, but it was also loose enough for him to be able to play and pant without any rubbing or pinching. Max did not exhibit any symptoms of displeasure or resistance, even after hours of playing fetch in the backyard and a romp across the park. He was ready to roll about on the grass as if he were not wearing a collar. Following the application of the collar, the typical afternoon scratch break was completely eliminated within a few days. In the past, I would count the minutes until Max’s next scratch or bite, but now I am able to enjoy uninterrupted cuddling sessions on the sofa without having to worry about unwanted pests. The weather in our area is unpredictable, ranging from misty mornings to unexpected rains, so I was quite interested in seeing how well the collar would perform in the face of dampness. This flea and tick prevention collar is a great item to have, especially in the summer. My dog gets a lot of pests during warmer weather and we just cannot get them to go away. I have tried different repellents, but so far the collar has been the most convenient and effective. The collars are very easy to put on and they are not too tight to make it uncomfortable. I did not notice anything too pungent either. It does not get damaged by water and is generally pretty sturdy. The four pack provides 24 months of protection. He always wears these to the park without any issue. I have been checking often to see if he has any fleas or ticks, and I have found none at all. These collars have really been helpful. 2 years worth of flea collars
These collars are really easy to use. They are about 25” long so they can be adjusted to fit dogs of all sizes. You simply place it around your dog’s neck and slide the end through the little buckle. Since these last for 6 months, you want to leave a little room for growth for younger dogs. Once fitted, you can cut off any excess. It comes with a clear little ring to slide over and hold down the end of it, too. I was surprised by the smell – it is not the typical herbal aroma of other collars we have used. It is more of a cologne smell. The collar is not sticky at all. Each one comes in an individually sealed bag so you can keep them fresh until you are ready to change them out. My dog hasn’t really paid much attention to it. It sits just above his collar. This one box provides enough collars for 2 years, making this a really amazing value!

Works reasonably well at keeping fleas and ticks under control, and after a short while my dog seemed noticeably less itchy with no fresh signs of pests. Ehrlich gesagt war ich Flohhalsbändern gegenüber anfangs skeptisch. Ich hielt sie für Abzocke. Bis letzten Sommer mein Golden Retriever vom Wälzen im Gras zurückkam und winzige Insekten auf seinem Hals krabbelten. Ich war entsetzt.Ich kaufte ihm so ein Halsband mit Sollbruchstelle, gleich zwei Stück. Es ist grau und sieht ziemlich unscheinbar aus. Es fühlt sich nicht hart an und riecht auch nicht unangenehm. Als ich es ihm anlegte, schüttelte er ein paar Mal den Kopf, als wollte er sagen: „Hey, was legst du mir da an?“ Die Halsbandlänge ist verstellbar. Der Verschluss lässt sich leicht schließen und hält sicher. Es passt für Halsumfänge von 20 bis 50 cm. Mein Hund ist mittelgroß, und die mittlere Einstellung passt ihm perfekt.Nachdem er es ein paar Tage getragen hatte, gingen wir wieder im Gras spielen. Als wir zurückkamen, untersuchte ich seinen Hals. Ich fand keine Flöhe. Er hatte sich auch nicht mehr so oft am Hals gekratzt. Früher hat er das ständig getan. Jetzt ist er viel ruhiger. Die Wasserdichtigkeit ist auch sehr praktisch. Es hat sich nach dem Regen nicht verformt. Die 24-monatige Garantie klingt übertrieben. Ich benutze es erst seit ein paar Wochen, aber die Ergebnisse sind zufriedenstellend.
