I kid I kid. 5/5 after about a week of daily usage as directed, both my husky and my German Shepard are mostly flee free. There are a few lingering flees but I suspect within another week or so they will be all gone.My husky no longer chews on her butt all day.

Out dated product!
The item is fine. BUT it has an expiration date of September 2024. I am wondering if it is still effective. A nd do you even check for expiration dates. I Donot want something that is not effective for my dog.

Can cause vomiting and diarrhea
I wanted to find a flea & tick repellent with no chemicals due to seizures. I chose this Vet Promise thinking that it , was safe. I started my dog Bambi on it in Dec. 2023 and by April 2024 started vomiting and presented with diarrhea with blood in it. After 4 days, I was able to get her into my vet for help. I showed her this brand of flea & tick and the ingredients. We discovered that it has neem oil in it. Neem oil is NOT safe for any animal to ingest. It is a natural occurring pesticide found in seeds from a Neem tree. It is safe to use topically but is highly toxic for any animal to digest. I guess the company can call this product “natural” because Neem is a natural oil but the vet promise people should have known this. It took my veterinarian 10 mins. to find out it was toxic and the reason for Bambi being sick. Now I’m out $350! Beware of what ingredients are in anything you feed your dog. I research every ingredient when it comes to chemicals for fleas, ticks and heartworms all the time now. Don’t trust a brand just because it says “natural ingredients.”

Really helps with fleas and ticks between the doses of topical treatment
This is our second summer using chews for flea & trick prevention on our dogs. We use a monthly topical treatment that doesn’t always keep the fleas away until the next dose. These chews work great to fill the gap.I love that they are made here in the USA of natural, non-GMO ingredients. Seriously, I could make them myself the ingredients are that natural. There are some other makers out there that use low quality fillers in addition to the “active ingredients”. Not these, these use tapioca and pea flours.Our dogs (18 month old and 3 month old) love them. We adjust the number of pieces they get daily by their weight (roughly). We have even given fractional pieces to the barn cats to help them with fleas. None of our pets have declined eating them. They are soft enough for the puppy and cat, yet don’t leave any residue on your hands.Chicken flavor is the variety we have, I hope they add some other options just for variety. We have seen/used bacon & duck from other makers. None of these have had an off-putting smell. All in all a great product that our dogs love as much as we do (not that I have tasted these, but I wouldn’t be afraid to based on the ingredients and smell).

Our dog liked them, didn’t resist fleas.
Our Corgi took these with no hesitation but we saw no improvements in flea resistance or scratching once the container was empty. Was hoping to avoid a topical treatment in the future.

Flea and tick prevention for dogs
Good quality product. I trust this brand name. No smell, and great price. We live in a wooded area and so far No ticks on the dogs so it must be working. Natural ingredient no chicken added in ingredient is your dog has poultry allergies.

It works!
2 years ago we had a feral dog come around. She had been dumped. We get that a lot. We named her Jill, but it was apparent she was just passing through. She would intermittently show up covered in Tics and Fleas and we would use topical to treat her, if we could get our hands on her. After time and patience and three litters of puppies, she would drop by with, we earned her trust and faith. I began using Flea and Tic prevention because it was a treat that did more than reward Jill’s good behavior. I was able to not only knock out the fleas and tics but was able to get Jill to sleep in a kennel while the latest litter of 9 she brought to us were penned and weaned. I was able to get Jill spade and all her shots, and through daily usage of the treats we have been able to keep her flea and tick free and her life has improved considerably. We are slowly finding home for the pups, Jill still roams some, but there will be no more puppies and no more fleas and tics. She is happier and hopefully will decide to stay with us. Your treats did more than make her comfortable, they helped me change her life.
