Fluent Buttons are the best
I love these pet buttons because they’re compact I had bought bigger buttons, but my dog who is medium size is able to hit the smaller buttons just as easy as the big buttons and these take up less room in my house and it looks neater. I like the way the mat is hex shaped. It makes it easier for the dog and I like the different colors of the hex mats makes it look nicer, makes it easier to group different buttons into grouping. The buttons themselves are very easy to record and for the dog to hit and for the price they’re the best option. They come with stickers that are like drawings so makes it easy for me to remember which one I am teaching the dog. If you can’t think of another idea for a button you use one of their pictures they’ve given you the idea.

Great—just not for my cat.
My cat isn’t patient or intelligent enough to use them but they’re light enough for her to press accidentally. The sound quality is cheap, but consistent and was easy to set (and reset, when I wanted). Haven’t had to change the batteries in months. The build quality seems fine for a cat.If I had a cat that could use these, I’d probably buy more. Oh well—the buttons don’t lose stars because of her!

Great buttons to help your animal communicate
My dog picked up using the buttons with only one quick lesson! To be fair, she already had some experience with communication devices like her “potty bell” and remote dog treat dispenser (press a button and a box across the room releases a few treats).We have only been using them for about a week and communication has been a little easier for all of us. My son doesn’t pick up on her normal cues, but when she presses the “outside” button, he knows exactly what she needs.She always has full access to her buttons. It’s great most of the time. It’s not so great when she presses the “cookie” button at 3am, but we would rather her be able to tell us when she needs to go out overnight than pick up messes in the morning (she has digestive issues that sometimes give her problems overnight.)The other day she brought a stick in the house. I asked her where she got the stick and she walked right over to her buttons and pressed her “outside” button. I couldn’t help but laugh. I asked, she answered.Overall, these are great and I can’t wait to add more words to her human vocabulary.

Needs too much weight to work
Too difficult for 17 pound cats to push! They had to sit on it to get it to work. Stepping didn’t work They gave up and it unfortunately going to the trash.

Excellent product, excellent results
I bought these for my husband. They are programmable so we were able to put in the important commands we wanted him to have. The speaker in the buttons broadcast a clear reproduction of my voice so he is able to understand them clearly. Our marriage has become much more passionate since purchasing them. Highly recommend.

Easy to Set Up, Fun to Learn.
Miss Ragamuffin asks for a brush.It was easy to set these buttons up. Flip a switch, Press a button and record. Flip the switch back for normal operation. Then seat the buttons in the neoprene Hex Tile mat – sold separately. https://amzn.to/3SsrGOGIt was easy for her to push a button, too. Some buttons for dogs won’t work for a cat or ferret.The price for the four buttons and the mat was a little less on Amazon than the price on the FluentPet site. This may change if there’s a sale, of course.So far we’ve learned “Play”, “Kluckers” (an old old brand of cat treat), “Brush”, and “Catnip”. It took a couple of weeks before she got the idea that she can *ask* using the buttons.You and your pet will enjoy communicating. This small investment will let you know whether FluentPet Works for you.

My dog now judges me for not going outside with these
My dog will push the button I made for the word “outside” to ask me to go outside. These are cool for communication. I’ve had some bad days where I forgot to feed myself dinner (and by proxy my dog) and my dog is able to communicate that he wants food. So he at least gets fed when I am not taking care of myself. 😂These are still lasting since I got them about a year or so ago. I love them!

Nice, loud enough, but button cell batteries
Button cell batteries were not a good choice for this and the speakers face downward so double sided tape is out, but the buttons are small and light and go flying when they step on it. Pick something else.
