Amazing communication tool!
I’m so impressed!My dog has learned to use several buttons to ask for food, walks, or playtime. It really works if you’re consistent. Great quality and such a fun way to bond with your pet!

Teach Your Pet to “Talk”
Miss Ragamuffin asks to be brushed. Rags started learning to “talk” at 8 years old. It took a couple of weeks of modeling the word before she decided to press it herself.Thick sturdy neoprene with tabs to hook together another hex tile for expansion.This is the hex tile that holds FluentPet talking buttons.This is just the tile – you also need buttons. Since the buttons didn’t work for a 20 pound animal, (they had to sit on the button for it even to work) having to buy this separate feels like a scam

Could be better
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I originally purchased a set of 4 buttons without this holder, but our cat kept throwing them all over. The holder does an okay job of keeping the buttons inside, but our cat can still pull them out. We secured this piece to our floor so it couldn’t be moved. Also, when the buttons are inside, the sound is much lower – this makes it harder to hear the buttons when they are pressed from across the room. It would be great if there was a way to keep the buttons from being pulled out by a cat, and if the sound wasn’t muffled.

We opted to get a mat with the buttons because the buttons are awfully small. The mat really helps because it’s grippy on the underside with a rubber layer on the underside of the foam. The holes punched out for the buttons just go through the foam so the buttons are still supported by that rubber layer. We stuck with blue initially since it’s so easy for dogs to see. Looking forward to adding to it when training progresses.

Great, but my dog ate it.
I don’t think the foam is a great option for my dog. He pawed at the foam and then ate it. Additionally, the foam is so light that it slides around. But, good product. It does what it says it will do — hold the buttons. Even if your dog poop tries to dog-handle the buttons too.
